Kamailio security announcement for Kamailio core

Reference: CVE-2018-14767 We strongly advise you to update your Kamailio installation to the latest stable release for security reasons. All supported releases (5.0. and 5.1) contains an important security fix in the Kamailio core related to the handling of “To” headers. The issues were fixed before the 5.0.7, and 5.1.4 releases in the respective stable branches. So if you are already running the 5.0.7 or 5.1.4 release then you have already the fixes deployed. Kamailio v5.0.7 Released

Hello, Kamailio SIP Server v5.0.7 stable is out – a minor release including fixes in code and documentation since v5.0.6. The configuration file and database schema compatibility is preserved, which means you don’t have to change anything to update. Kamailio v5.0.7 is based on the latest version of GIT branch 5.0. We recommend those running previous 5.0.x or older versions to upgrade. Kamailio World 2017 - grants for students and underrepresented people

Hello, with a bit of delay, given that had to accommodate and accept some requests from the last year queue, Daniel-Constantin Mierla is glad to announce that we can offer two more seats at Kamailio World Conference, May 8-10, 2017, in Berlin. Therefore we are continuing the program from last years, based on the roots and the tight relation of Kamailio project with the academic environment, the eligible people being students enrolled in universities or research institutes (both bachelor and PhD programs qualify) as well as people from underrepresented groups. If you think you are eligible and want to participate, email Daniel directly (miconda(a)gmail.com) or to registration(a)kamailio.org . Participation to all the content of the event (workshops, conference and social event) is free, but you will have to take care of expenses for traveling and accommodation. Write a short description about your interest in real time communications and, when it is the case what is the university or the research institute you are affiliate to. Also, if you are not a student, but you are in touch with some or have access to students forums/mailing lists, it will be very appreciated if you forward these details. Time is short, we already received few requests based on my remark in a message sent out few weeks ago, therefore in a matter of days we will do the selection, so you have to hurry up a bit. kamailio present on LinuxTag 2011, booth 112

Kamailio - the Open Source SIP Server project will be present at LinuxTag, Berlin, Germany, May 11-14, 2011 (http://www.linuxtag.org/2011/). The location is Hall 7.2b, booth 112 (near to the Mozilla project). Come and meet some of us, we will be glad to chat about Kamailio, SIP Router, SEMS, SIP, IMS and VoIP in general. kamailio and sip-router at FOSDEM 2011 - social event

Hello, in about two and a half week the annual open source developer conference FOSDEM (http://fosdem.org/2011/) takes place in Brussels. As in the last two years we would like to meet here for a social event, probably a dinner on Saturday evening, 6th February. This developers already confirmed their participance: - Daniel-Constantin Mierla - Marius Zbihlei - Henning Westerholt This year we'll also be present in the Open Source Telephony room on sunday with two talks, "Scaling location services in large SIP networks with Kamailio from Marius and myself, and "Unifying SIP and Web worlds with Lua (Kamailio)" from Daniel. Olivier Taylor agreed helping us again in choosing a nice place for the evening. Participation at the event is free of charge, everybody pays for its own expenses. In order to organize a restaurant and do a reservation please send me a short mail if you would like to attend. Looking forward to see you in Brussels! This release is a result of more than 8 months of development and testing from the teams of Kamailio (OpenSER) and SIP Express Router (SER) projects. Backed up by a solid development group, we are proud to announce that this release brings a large set of features, many for first time on the SIP server market, such as asynchronous TLS, UDP raw sockets, embedded HTTP and XCAP servers, embedded Lua, configuration file debugger. All together, there are over 15 new modules and countless improvements to old components. Since last major release (version 3.0.0, which was out in January 10, 2010), the two SIP servers, Kamailio and SER, are practically the same application, the name making the difference regarding the database structure and the extensions used for certain features, such as user database based authentication or location service. kamailio project presence at linuxtag 2010

Hello, the kamailio, sip-router and sems projects will be present next week on the linuxtag 2010 - "the most important place for Linux and open source software in Europe." [1]. We're at booth 106, this is in hall 7.2b. If you're during next week in Berlin and visit the exibition, then we're looking forward to meet you there!
