You haven't attached the valgrind output. I tested with the example you provided at: * https://github.com/kamailio/kamailio/issues/1577#issuecomment-404720655 and I could not spot any leak after sending thousands of requests. I am not a Lua expert to comment on others libs/packages/approaches. There can be libs out there in the Lua world that can leak, it is not kamailio's role to fix them.
