why is lookup done based on aor bar@test.fi instead of gruu urn:uuid:38056f74-308b-42c9-b16d-0fa61b6ff1a1 found in location/instance field?

the decision on how lookup is done could be based on existence of to tag. for db_mode=3, an index should then be added containing the instance field.
