There is a fairly specific ifdef that doesn't match other platforms that define htonll and ntohll such as Solaris:

#if !defined(__OS_darwin) || (defined(__OS_darwin) && !defined(NTOHLL))

Would it be acceptable to change these to:

#ifndef htonll

For example:
