I look a bit on this commit and some comments i can give are:
The config files of these modules are already installed by default when they are included to be built. No need for extra step.
These *-cfg components are no longer available after the refactoring to use build groups instead. Can you maybe confirm that? I expect that it silently does nothing instead of complaining...
