As far as I know there is currently no support for RFC-8760 yet. It modifies the Digest Access Authentication scheme to add support for more secure digest algorithms, e.g., SHA-256 and SHA-512/256, to replace the obsolete MD5 algorithm. Are there any plans to implement this?
Extending the auth module to accept these algorithms as a function parameter would be nice to have since older clients may not support them.
