just wondering if it is time to create a sr-users mailing list where to attract the testers in the first phase and continue with the community when we release first version.
sr-dev is too technical for non-programmers and has lot of commits traffic in this phase.

Yes, but we should decide on the repos (it would be much more easier for testers and for us).

and I hope developers will add there some description of how people can test different parts.
Ideally, I would like to see one repository and tell people take that and test.
