I pushed a slightly different commit to add safety checks for root xavp to ensure its value is an xavp list.
If you test and works fine, then you can cherry-pick and push to 5.2 branch.

I have a project that requires monitoring and recording the rtp streams from an ongoing phone call. It seems to me that rtp_proxy module should be able to do this, but I can't seem to get enough info to make it work. Does anybody have a working example of using rtp_proxy to record the audio streams? Would be greatly appreciated.
