Hello,
some time ago, during an IRC devel meeting, it was proposed to migrate K source repository to GIT (IIRC Ovidiu Sas). At that time SF.net didn't provide git support but does it now..
Probably many know that most of the modules were updated to compile with sip-router core (last of them being worked out): http://sip-router.org/wiki/devel/kamailio-integration#module_integration_sta...
Now I am asking the K devels if they feel comfortable with git, so that we move our repository to git. It will easy synchronization with sip-router core which is kept in git.
Cheers, Daniel

fine with me as long as i can do basic updates and commits (or whatever they are called in git) using git that comes with debian lenny, which seems to be version 1.5.6.5.

Also fine with me, if we require a common available git version and we keep to maintain one repository (e.g. the master branch) which is usuable and more or less up to date. Its a bit difficult to track too many parallel branches, especially for "advanced users" which are not full-time developers.

I really needed an excuse to learn Git. Now I already have it :)
Switching to git it's a must since next release will be based on sr core and sr tm module. We just need to figure out the layout of the repositories and where the repositories will be hosted.
