# sip-proxy_ctl cfg.help
error: 400 - error at parameter 0: expected string type but end of packet encountered

It requires 2 parameters, the cfg group and variable name.
E.g.:
$ sercmd cfg.help core memlog
log level for memory status/summary information
(parameter type is integer)
