[Serusers] Too many connections in MySQL

Hi everybody, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I started to use ser 0.8.11 on my server (Debian/SID). After start of ser MySQL server accepts about 95 - 100 connections per loaded module. I use auth_db module and msilo module and I found 300 connections in logfile of my MySQL server. I think, this is not normal behaviour, is it? I use MySQL server 4.0.15a-1 from SID distribution. Folks, I've noticed that documentation available at http://www.iptel.org/ser/doc/serdev/serdev.html incorrectly describes db_query() function. Particularly, third db_op_t parameter is missed. Also, db_op_t is not listed among other standard db_xxx_t types. Obviously this need to be fixed. -Maxim

In response for frequent questions how to configure SER to operate as voicemail2email server, I created an example file. Note that this example operates as a stand-alone UAS, i.e., the configuration does not operate in proxy mode -- it needs a proxy fronting it. When I "klick" on the link in the mail I got in return after I "subscrib" from the webb. ..../user_interface/index.php I get this messages: "400 Table 'aliases' not found in memory, use save("aliases") or lookup("aliases") in the configuration script first" 400 = bad request Why is that? Is there any way to deal with a busy or out of service gateway? Would either of these situations activate a failure that we could use to change the route to a new gateway? If we set up the gateways in a huntgroup scenaro, and 2 or 3 failovers had to take place, what sort of delay could one expect? Hi, I am using windows messenger 5.0. This version supports SIP but i am not able to log on as a first time user. The error i get is : You have been signed out of SIP communications service because that service has been temporarily shut down. Please try again later. Hello, I have MSN Messenger 6.0 on Windows 2000 box. And under "Tools -> Options -> Accounts" I only have ".NET Passport Account" and there is no "Communications Service Account" to configure for SIP. User 1 and User 2 are using Messenger 4.7. User 1 is online. User 2 logs on and SUBSCRIBEs to User 1's presence. OK's go back, and a NOTIFY is sent from User 1 to User 2, but the proxy sends back a 483 too many hops. My config file is set up to be stupid about this, so it should send it right through. Is there anything else that should be set up to make this work?
