Hi guys (and girls if any)!!
Im rather new to SER, Iv been playing with it latley and I have one
thing I cant get to work.. It may be me that's out of date or something,
heres my problem :
iv got 2 SERexpress routers.
One in Oslo (Norways Capital) and One in Bergen (Norways Second lagest
City).. Im trying to connect all the users in oslo to the one in oslo
and the users in bergen to the one in bergen. Tho.. I cant get routing
to work between them. I want 0,XXX to be "out of sentral" but no luck ..
here's my "config" on the one in oslo..
if (uri=~"^sip:0[0-9]*@mydomain.com") {
log("Forwarding to Bergen\n");
record_route();
t_relay_to_udp( "gateway.in.bergen", "5060"); My thing in bergen
break;
};
then, In Bergen.. I cant find out howto route "data" back to the one in
Oslo.
Could somebody pleace help me with this ?
Thanks for the Help sofar

Dear group,
I installed ser(0.8.11_linux_i386) with mysql support, as well as the web interface serweb.
(serweb site: http://www.sipchina.org/iptel/html/user/)
But when I test the user registration function, I got this error when click the link on the confirmation email:
400 Table 'aliases' not found in memory, use save("aliases") or lookup("aliases") in the configuration script first
I guess the configuration script here is iptel/html/config.php, but i don't know how to save("aliases") in this file.
Could any one help me?
And I have another wish, that is the serweb can be translated into Chinese(at least the user part). But I found that the messages strings are everywhere in php file, language is not configurable, I translate this version, it will be un-upgradable, so is there any chance in the future the web interface can be translated into other language?
Regards
Jeff.
Hello,
I would like to know this question. I know that SER can listen to IPv6
packets, but do you know any SIP client which can send IPv6 packets.
I'm using Nortel SIP client and I can't or I don't know how.
Again, thank you very much.
Curro
Hello and thanks to the list for your answers.
I have developed a simple test network in a private LAN whit 2 PC: a
SER server and a client.
When I try to connect the SIP client, the server answer with this
message:
478 Unresolveable destination.
SER and mysql are running. I have serweb correctly installed and I can
add users. I use the user admin, pass heslo (which is in subscriber
table) to login with the SIP client.
Any idea about what's happenning? Any help will be fantastic.
Thank you very much for your time.

Hi,
ive setup two ser servers, one acting as "main proxy" and one is responsible
vor the "voicemail" using "sems".
If a subscriber is not registered with the SER server everything works fine
and the voicemail is triggered. If a subsriber is registered but the fone isnt
picked up i get a "480: Temporary not available" instead of the voicemail
starting.
Ive setup the fr_inv_timer by "modparam("tm", "fr_inv_timer", 90 )" in my
script
but i dont know how to correctly "catch" the timeout. I coudnt find anything
in
the modules/tm/README either.
Anyone has an example for this?
best regards,
Arnd
Hey All,
I am using Ser CVS stable release. Downloaded yesterday.
I am getting the following errors after disconnecting from outgoing calls. The calls are going through okay, but I always get this error on the console and in syslog upon disconnection of the call. By outgoing calls I mean from calls from a registered SIP phone to numbers outside our PSTN gateway. Incoming calls coming from outside the gateway to registered phone numbers are not giving these errors.
The error message are:
Jan 12 17:25:21 tequila /usr/local/sbin/ser[16801]: [ID 272711 daemon.error] ERROR: extract_body: message body has lenght zero
Jan 12 17:25:21 tequila /usr/local/sbin/ser[16801]: [ID 833947 daemon.error] ERROR: force_rtp_proxy: can't extract body from the message
Jan 12 17:25:21 tequila /usr/local/sbin/ser[16801]: [ID 725830 daemon.error] ERROR: on_reply processing failed
Any ideas why I would get these messages? I've attached my ser.cfg file as well.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi!
I have recompile acc module to enable mysql support, and set this lines on my
ser.cfg:
loadmodule "/usr/lib/ser/modules/acc.so"
modparam("acc", "log_level", 1)
modparam("acc", "log_flag", 1 )
modparam("acc", "log_fmt", "miocfsu" )
setflag(1);
But I can't see any messages from acounting on mysql and syslog!
What does I'm doing wrong?

Hello,
looking at the usrloc contact state in output of "serctl ul show" I wonder
that I have a User Agent which re-registers regulary (e.g every 30 sec) but
always shows a state "CS_DIRTY". I would expect a stable state of CS_SYNC.
Should not I be concerned about it?
What might be the cause of this "dirty" state?
Does anybody have a suggestion?
Thanks
Franz
