Hi there,
Is there any way to use expressions in the route configuration? I'd
love to use something like:
if(uri=~"sip:([a-z])+@thirdtower.com" && !lookup()) {
seturi("sip:voicemail@thirdtower.com/$1");
}
Which would mean "if someone calls to "sip:someone@thirdtower.com" but
"someone" is unknown / unregistered, forward to
"sip:voicemail@thirdtower.com/someone".
Greetings,
Sybren

The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
---- Registered Linux user #349923 --- http://counter.li.org/ ----
Hi,
I am running ser-0.8.14 on a Linux box with the network card configured
with both IPv4 (a.b.c.d) and IPv6 addresses (1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8). To make the
SER listen to both IPv4 and IPv6 incoming calls, I have the following lines
in ser.cfg:
listen=a.b.c.d 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8
port=5060
However, the SER is not responding to any incoming requests. For example,
when my IPv4 clients (tried both Messenger and Xlite) attempt to Register,
there is no response from SER server. If I remove the "listen" line from
ser.cfg, the SER server works fine just as normal.
Can anyone please point out what is happening? A working IPv6 setup example
will be great if you can provide one (including ser.cfg, clients used, and
relevant settings for the client).
Thanks,
Haipeng
HI,
Just a quick question. Does SER supports two users behind the same
NAT? If yes then does the media flow directly between them or it still
has to pass through the media proxy?
Thanks,
Hitesh
Hello again list. :)
I have a question related with the authorization of a PSTN Gateway
in SER. Suppose that all my calls are forwarded to my PSTN GW. For this i
don't need to have my GW registered in SER, i just forward my calls
depending on the prefix, and i add a rewritehost("GW.IP") and this works ok.
But my GW also have incoming calls form PSTN to my Registered users in SER.
So, when a INVITE from my GW arrives to SER, the INVITE is challenge for
authorization, since my GW is not even registered or has a username and
password defined the authorization fails and therefore the call fails.
Is there a way to define my GW in a "Friendly Zone"?? or something like
this? to avoid be registered?
Thanks in advance
Best regards,
Ricardo Martinez.
I have looked all over the docs and either I'm blind or SER can not initiate
a REGISTER message every X seconds on its own to another SER server. Is
there an external utility that does this for it?
I am trying to avoid hard coding one of my customers IP addresses into my
system. I basically want their SER server to REGISTER with my SER server as
if it were an ATA. That way I don't have to make any custom entries into my
configs for them. This is being used for wholesale purposes when the
customer's SER box is servicing the end users (who have real ATA's) and I am
handling all PSTN origination and termination for them.
Thanks in advance!

hello freind,
iam trying for the ser+quintum tenor a400/a800 but
some
where iam missing some and its not working as
i expected
the problems iam facing in step by step manner
1) how to use the quintum exactly ?
i have just configured the quintum a400/a800 with
gatekeeper ip in that
then i have given one user agent which can register
with my ser.
it s registering well
2) now how should i make a call to the other ends in
the pstn or else in the IP network ?
in general this has the exactly 4 ports for the epbx
and then 4 ports for the pstn
so how to use that ports .
3) what is the mode of operations exactly.
4) how to use the tenor quitum a400/a800 in the

Meet the all-new My Yahoo! - Try it today!

I'm wondering if it's possible to execute a script from within the routing
logic of SER and decide what route to take based on the output of that
script.
What I would like to do is create a script which checks my gateways for
load/availability and decide to which gateway to send the request.
A bit like the AGI stuff Asterisk can do.
Kind regards,

it by hisself?
Thank you very much!!!.
