Hi,
Trying to build with the CVS version of PA module to make sure I have
all the latest PUBLISH etc handling...
Ran into various build issues (missing unixsock_server and tsend...) in
the core. Any hints/suggestions appreciated - even that it's simply
insane to run 8.14 with PA from CVS..
Thanks in advance.
Jim.
Hi!
If have a problem using routing permission. How can I check the
destination of an upcoming t_relay? Regexp do not work if the request
URI contains a domain. I studied the permissions module but I think it's
also not useful as it also uses regexp.
Is there a way to apply routing permission after the relay function
resolved the destination IP address (SRV lookups, ...), just before the
packet is handled on to the sending socket?
regards,
Klaus
If it would be possible, removing the required registration would be
great.

Samuel,
I don't think you have to worry about onsip.org stepping on the toes
of serusers for two reasons.
1) Onsip.org is not meant to be a near real-time community like the
mailing lists are. I've posted questions to serusers and have gotten
responses in minutes. This likely won't happen with onsip.org.
2) The simple reason is that SER is such a complex product that it
would be impossible for us to cover everything.
Anyhow, do you have any suggestions that we could implement on the
onsip.org community site to mitigate your concerns?
Regards,
Paul

Hi,
I followed the instructions in this guide however I still have
errors. When I run "make all", I keep getting erros telling me a file
or directory is missing. See an example of this below:
DHAVE_SCHED_YIELD -DHAVE_MSG_NOSIGNAL -DHAVE_MSGHDR_MSG_CONTROL
-DHAVE_ALLOCA_H -c group_mod.c -o group_mod.o
gcc -shared -Wl,-O2 -Wl,-E group.o group_mod.o -o group.so
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/sip_router/modules/group'
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/sip_router/modules/mangler'
../../Makefile.rules:77: contact_ops.d: No such file or directory
../../Makefile.rules:77: ip_helper.d: No such file or directory
../../Makefile.rules:77: mangler.d: No such file or directory
../../Makefile.rules:77: sdp_mangler.d: No such file or directory
../../Makefile.rules:77: utils.d: No such file or directory
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/sip_router/modules/mangler'
When I run "ser -V" I am still running the stable version 8.0.14.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Aisling.

I tested SER which have beed mofified by me.
The SER crahed with DBG_QM_MALLOC on, it report
>qm_*: prev. fragm. tail overwritten(c0003433,
abcdefed)[0x814f284:0x814f29c]!
this happened in one of my function which called pkg_malloc().
this function is located in the tm module.
But if comment the DBG_QM_MALLOC in the
Makefile.defs , then compile SER, it never
crashes.
Who can tell me what that mean??
Thanks for your help.
Best Regards.

Hi,
Just one minor remark: although the document is pretty useful, I though
it wasn't meant to replace this mailing list, so I hope this reference
to the getting-started document do not stop people from getting answers
