Hi Marc:
We have H.350 authentication structure on our openLDAP server.
We use it to authenticate users from our home-grown SIP software.
Let me know if you need any specific information.
Will try my best to provide you,
Tarun

Hello.
In the serctl moni appears a "failure" indicator. What represent
this indicator?
Could be something related to exec_dst() function?
Thanks!

Hello,
I try to configure Ser and polycom phones behind nat.
phone 1 -------
| ser | ----- internet
phone 2 -------
Ser listen on private network and internet.
Polycom phones send public ip of Ser in SIP header.
According to sip_call file (ethereal) ser know that
phones are behind nat (lines 2,3,6,8) however when
phone1 invite phone2 "404 Not found" message it sent
by Ser .
If Ser Know that phones are behind nat How can I fix
that problem in ser.cfg .
Thanks for your help.
Harry

Hi
Had a strange problem this morning, freenum seemed to be down, hence the
lookups in ser just sort of hung, and the looped round again, but no
calls were being made, it seems as if no response, is received then it
"hangs" no in a literal sense. Anyonw experienced this, or knows of a
way around, it works fine if it recieves a lookup failure , i.e if the
data is not in there.

Hi,
I am running SER on a host with 2 network interfaces. The behavior I
observe is that when SER receives a message say REGISTER on
interface 1 it sends the 200OK on interface 2. Due to the way the
network has been configured, this 200OK never makes it back to the
UA which sent the REGISTER. So I want to make sure that SER sends the
response back on the same interface it got the message on.
How do I do this? I cannot disable the second network interface. In
ser.cfg I set "listen" to the IP address of the interface I want to use;
I also set "mhomed" to 1, still no luck. Any suggestions are highly welcome.
thanks,
-Ravi.
Hi everybody,
I'm thinking of implementing Trabas VoIP Billing Software (www.trabas.com) in order to manage my VoIP billing. I've been to many voip billing software, nearly all I found very good but also very expensive ...
Because of that, I would like to make some questions.
1. Has anybody have implemented such software ?
2. How to generate bills (CDR Data) in SER ? Is there a howto or tutorial for that at the internet ?
3. I use SER with MySQL, does Trabas work with SER and MySQL ?
Thanks in Advance
Best Regards

>From RFC3261:
20.27 Proxy-Authenticate
A Proxy-Authenticate header field value contains an authentication
challenge.
The use of this header field is defined in [H14.33]. See Section
22.3 for further details on its usage.
Example:
Proxy-Authenticate: Digest realm="atlanta.com",
domain="sip:ss1.carrier.com", qop="auth",
nonce="f84f1cec41e6cbe5aea9c8e88d359",
opaque="", stale=FALSE, algorithm=MD5
My question revolves around the domain="sip:ss1.carrier.com" field. I notice that SER does not
use the option, however I have another proxy that does. I have searched for information about
this field, but not able to get the information I need. Why would you use a realm and domain
field at the same time? Is 1 preferred to another? Should both be used?
Any help would be great.

I couldn't get much debugging info from all of this because it happened
somewhat randomly. I just want to see if anyone else has ever
encountered similar problems with flatstore.
Thanks,
William
