What is wrong with ser 0.9.3 it doesn't work with database authentication! RPM and source packages simply fail to start with database authentication enabled. Can someone please help me? Also 0.8.12 does not support mysql database accounting!!! Has anyone solved these two issues. I have looked everywhere but nothing! Thank you Yiannis Marios

[Serusers] radius authentication with 0.9.3 stable

Does anyone have a pointer to a how-to guide for setting up radius authentication with SER 0.9.3 stable? I am running on RH ES 4 with the latest radiusclient-ng installed and I've compiled in the radius related modules. I've added site specific modparam statements such as those in modules/auth_radius/readme but I'm stuck on what is left. Thanks, Steve

Hi, does anyone know how to set parameters for acc_radius module? [Users] 'switch' statements

Hello, 'switch' statements can be used now in configuration file to test the last returned code ('retcode') - CVS head version. This should simplify a lot the scripting for testing 'retcode' and should make the file better structured and easier to understand (hopefully :-) ). It is similar with C 'switch' construct, but it uses 'sbreak' instead of C-'break', because in openser the keyword 'break' is already used for other meaning. I am not fully convinced whether to use this 'sbreak' keyword, or better 'esac' (shell-like), any better idea? [Serusers] SER 0.9.1 + mediaproxy VS IPCOP 1.4.6

hi all, I used ser 0.9.1 with mediaproxy, the User Agent can register and connect each other, but there is no sound, I think mediaproxy can't pass the audio stream through IPCOP.. anyone have experienced this??? regards, gunawan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? [Serusers] Possible bug in pa module

Hello. I think I have found a bug in pa module. If I send a SUBSCRIBE request without an Expires header, pa module rejects it with a 400 response. However, RFC 3265 states: "SUBSCRIBE requests SHOULD contain an Expires header. [...] If no Expires header is present in a SUBSCRIBE request, the implied default is defined by the event package being used." So, pa module should accept subscriptions without an expires header, but it doesn't now. This is quite upsetting, as some clients (Windows Messenger, for example) don't include this header on its SUBSCRIBE requests, and so these requests are rejected by SER. Please correct me if I'm mislead. Regards. Daniel Machín.
