Dear Users
I'd like to know how can i know is a user is registerd, so he can make
calls. and users who aren't registered, send a error and disable make calls
the point is the users aren't registered can't make calls.

Hi
Is there any standard or best user experience for inv_timeouts and
fr_timer for IP calls and ip to pstn calls. Also can you have different
timers for different types of calls and destinations, maybe even based
on prefix/gateway lookup

Thanks Luba-
I built from source.. And I can't seem to find any references to
ser-mysql-module later than v. 0.8.12 (I'm using 0.9.3)
I've tried making the whole package with-
#make exclude_modules="" modules
But I still get that error.. I'm not really sure where to find/compile the
ser-mysql-module from...
Thanks again for your assistance-
Kyle

Hi,
Is anyone using the pa module in 0.9.3?
I have a problem where the NOTIFY always sends 'closed', even though
the user is registered.
Also, the NOTIFY is only sent when a SUBSCRIPTION request is received
and does not seem to reflect changes to the registrar.
Mark
All-
I've just compiled SER on RHEL 4, 32 bit, and I'm having this error when
trying to launch it.
Aug 19 16:28:25 sip1 ser: ERROR: load_module: could not open module
</usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so>: /usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so:
undefined symbol: PL_memory_wrap
I've got these MySQL RPMs instlaled..
[root@sip1 src]# rpm -qa |grep -i mysql
mod_auth_mysql-2.6.1-2.1
mysql-4.1.10a-1.RHEL4.1
mysql-devel-4.1.10a-1.RHEL4.1
perl-DBD-MySQL-2.9004-3.1
php-mysql-4.3.9-3.2
mysql-server-4.1.10a-1.RHEL4.1
MySQL-shared-standard-4.1.13-0.rhel4
My version of SER is-
[root@sip1 src]# /usr/local/sbin/ser -V
version: ser 0.9.3 (i386/linux)
flags: STATS: Off, USE_IPV6, USE_TCP, DISABLE_NAGLE, USE_MCAST, DNS_IP_HACK,
SHM_MEM, SHM_MMAP, PKG_MALLOC, FAST_LOCK-ADAPTIVE_WAIT
ADAPTIVE_WAIT_LOOPS=1024, MAX_RECV_BUFFER_SIZE 262144, MAX_LISTEN 16,
MAX_URI_SIZE 1024, BUF_SIZE 65535
@(#) $Id: main.c,v 1.197 2004/12/03 19:09:31 andrei Exp $
main.c compiled on 16:27:07 Aug 19 2005 with gcc 3.4
Can anyone offer a hint to get me past this point?
Many thanks in advance-
Kyle
Trying openser-head, and have noticed that after an hour or so of heavy
usage, it just stops responding to incoming requests. The only way out
is to kill it, and restart
a backtrace on the resulting core shows
#0 destroy_kill () at fastlock.h:76
76 fastlock.h: No such file or directory.
in fastlock.h
(gdb) bt
#0 destroy_kill () at fastlock.h:76
#1 0xb7d1dc7a in exec_shutdown () at exec_mod.c:92
#2 0x08078502 in destroy_modules () at sr_module.c:355
#3 0x0805fb5d in cleanup (show_status=0) at main.c:351
#4 0x080614ea in main (argc=0, argv=0xb7fb9800) at main.c:1580
Something obvious out of whack?
cheers

Hello,
I'm using ser to forward to PSTN Gatways.
Before the t_relay I put the command:
t_on_failure("2");
So, after a timeout ser goes to:
failure_route[2] {
log (1, "next gateway...\n");
if (t_check_status("408|500|503"))
{
if (!next_gw())
{
t_reply("503", "Service not available, no more gateways");
break;
}
log (1, "gateway changed...\n");
}
t_on_failure("2");
t_relay();
}
This is working very good... if the user doesn't make a hangup.
If caller hangs up, the CANCEL hits SER and the call is cleanly terminated.
SER however continues to failure_route after timeout of the initial
INVITE... ser sends out a new INVITE message to another PSTN-Server... and
the phone rings (with nobody in the line)
Many thanks for your help!
Sebastian
