Hello,
What are you using to authenticate SER on public PSTN services ? I was
using UAC module, but it's very unstable.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi
I have an interesting problem, with one of my setups, call transfers are
fine ip to ip, but if the call comes in via PSTn to a ip phone, which
then wants to transfer to another ip phone, I get 404 Not found.
On transfer there is a INVITE sent to the originator, and then followed
by a REFER, on the first INVITE which is sent to the PSTN is says user
not found, has anyone got a setup like this.

Hi,
I m using a radius to autehitcate my users. The SER is compiled with
radius support and location of radiusclients.conf has been correctly
modparam'ed , but Xten is showing login timed out.. i.e, it is unable to
login the user. Where might be the error? How can I see the outgoing radius
request packets which my SER is sending besides SER debugging console. It
doesn't show up in the log files.

Hello everyone,
I've found and issue with save function and I'd like to know what I'm doing
wrong.
I configured, it correctly pass the porxy authentication, and then a new
record is added to the location database using the save function after
receiveing a register request.
The problem is when the same terminal changes the IP address (is using
DHCP). The save function adds a new record to the location database, instead
of updating the existing record changing the contact field.
I looked at mysql log, and the update command is including the location
information in the where statement, thats is why mysql is adding a new
record instead of updating the existing one.
Is that a problem with the save function? Should I configure something in
order to make it look for just the username and domain without including the
contact info?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards
Hernán

Iqbal, Jeff:
I dont know too much about Astrisk but I thought Asterisk could manage a set of endpoints by itself. Why do you need to run SER with an Asterisk? Could you not just run Asterisk and use it to manage your network.

Hello,
I've already posted message on this topic, but some questions remain
unanswered.
My concerns are bout the pa module (presence).
* Does it support RFC3857 to allow authorization management of
subscriptions?
* Any ideas if the presence server can be easily distributed on several
machines?
- What kind of database is used (to ensure having up-to-date data on
each server) ?
- How to determine which server sends the status change's notification
to users?
* How can one estimate the required bandwidth (5000 online users, with avg
40 users per contact list, is likely to generate many NOTIFY message)
* Is it possible to performs computation before proceeding (to check account
credit before giving access to a service)

Hi!
My openser (cvs) enteres the failure route also if the caller cancels
the call, which is IMO not a failure. This this a feature or a bug (or
can this be caused by bad configuration)?
