I have a doubt about Mediaproxy.
I've read, if one o more SIP clients are behind NAT the traffic RTP, all the
traffic, it will cross the
server (ser and mediaproxy same server). I have verified it.
Is There some way that is not thus? Or it is the only form to work the
Mediaproxy (always to be and mediaproxy same server).
Thanks,

Hi,
After that I install SER and I run the command:
serctl add 1000 12345 mil(a)domain.net
I haven't any problem. But, when I restart the server and I run the command:
serctl add 2000 54321 dosmil(a)domain.net
I get the next problem:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'serro'@'localhost' (using
password: YES)
error: SER/FIFO not accessible: 2
I have tried the next: (but, I haven't resolved the problem)
shell# mysql -p
mysql> used ser;
mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR 'serro'@'localhost' = PASSWORD('thepassword');
mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR 'ser'@'localhost' = PASSWORD('thepassword');
Some idea?
Thanks,
Alberto.

hello,
I'm using the methode handle_subscribtion for testing purposes.
It's working, but the to-tag and from-tag in notify don't come up to our
testing expectations:
- to will be put in from and a tag will be generated
- from will be put in to including tag
but we need: the to- and from-tags in subscribe should be the
from- and to-tags in notify, without generating a new tag or so - like shown
above:
Request-Line: SUBSCRIBE ....
Message Header
Via: ...
...
To: sip:xyz@blabla.com; tag=b27e1a1d33761e...
From: JP <sip:abc@blabla.com; tag=3c85d92779ea08e
...
and notify should look like:
Request-Line: NOTIFY ....
Message Header
via: ...
...
To: JP <sip:abc@blabla.com; tag=3c85d92779ea08e
From: sip:xyz@blabla.com; tag=b27e1a1d33761e...
Is it possible to change the code and where do I have to change it?
thanks, Bin

Thanks for the tip. It works - I received the 200 OK response for
the REGISTER request.
However, I can't see the new user name from the serweb tool (User
Management screen) Is there any visual way to see the new user
either by serweb or serctl?

Hi,
I have set up a SER server and am testing it for REGISTER request.
I am sending following REGISTER request to the server :
REGISTER sip:registrar.mydomain.com SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP bobspc.mydomain.com:5060;branch=z9hG4bKnashds7
Max-Forwards: 70
To: Bob <sip:bob@mydomain.com>
From: Bob <sip:bob@mydomain.com>;tag=456248
Call-ID: 843817637684230@998sdasdh09
CSeq: 1826 REGISTER
Contact: <sip:bob@192.0.2.4>
Expires: 7200
Content-Length: 0
However, I am not getting OK reply from the server. How can I verify
user's registration at the SER? I tried to modify the ser.cfg; but
no success. Following is part of my ser.cfg :
........
if (uri==myself) {
if (method=="REGISTER") {
# Uncomment this if you want to use digest authentication and set
domainname
# if (!www_authorize("domainname",
"subscriber")) {
# www_challenge("domainname", "0");
# break;
# };
save("location");
break;
};
...........
Any help would be appreciated on this.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Bhaskar...
