Hi List
I have a problem with OpenSER. OpenSER has a public IP and is not behind a
NAT. Two clients that are behind a NAT ring each other but there is no
audio either way. Any advise please?
Sencond scenario two clients both behind the same NAT. . Client1 calls the
Client2, Client2 UA rings, Client2 answers the call but it does not
connect. Client1 call does not get answered by Client2 and Client1 just
hears the ringing tone. Any ideas?
Best Regards

I am using the features-callfwd.cfg script with mediaproxy in a
testing server. I can make call directly from phone to phone and
forward call. However, it is failed to forward call on no answer and
forward call on busy. In my testing server, it only has a network
interface. I wonder if it is the cause of the problem. Does it need
to have 2 network interfaces (one for external and one for internal)
for those forward features work?
I installed freeradius. When I tried to register, syslog message is:
Jan 14 20:39:36 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[1280]: rc_get_seqnbr: fscanf
failure: /var/run/radius.seq
Jan 14 20:39:38 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[1280]:
ERROR:auth_radius:radius_authorize_sterman: rc_auth failed
Any ideas?

Hello,
courtesy of Norman Brandinger, there is now a new tutorial describing
the tables in OpenSER Database.
http://openser.org/docs/OpenSER_Database_Structure.html
The dokuwiki page which was create to collect users' contributions in
this respect will point to this tutorial.
If anyone wants to contribute with more description, please sent email
to devel(a)openser.org or add the text in the dokiwiki page.

I used
ngrep -qt port 5060
but I don't get ouput in the screen, so I used:
ngrep -qt, and the ouput was:

I saw this and I guess that sip packet is wrong, but I have in extexsion.conf:
exten = _2XX,2,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN}@ser,100)
I thought I was making a sip request.
2 notes:
I have openser and asterisk in the same computer, asterisk has sip port 5062 and openser 5060.
I test openser and asterisk talk one to one.
Can i have the role of each table in openser database ?

Hi all,
I'm trying to test openset TLS feature with windows messenger.
I setup openser on Debian Linux and modified the openser.cfg and
openssl.cnfas required by the TLS faq and docs at
openser.org.
When I try to sign in using windows messenger I got the following message
from OpenSer: "tls-accept: Error in SSL:" At the same time windows messenger
gives the following error messenger; "There was a problem verifying the
certificate from the server ....."
Here is an excerpt from my openser.cfg -
disable_tls = 0
listen = tls:192.168.0.128:5061
tls_verify = 0
tls_require_certificate = 0
tls_method = TLSv1 ( I also tried SSLv23 )
tls_certificate =
"/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/sipsrv_rootCA/sipsrv01/cert.pem"
tls_private_key =
"/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/sipsrv_rootCA/sipsrv01/privkey.pem"
tls_ca_list =
"/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/sipsrv_rootCA/sipsrv01/calist.pem"
and an excerpt from my openssl.cnf
dir = "/usr/local/etc/openser/tls/sipsrv_rootCA/demoCA"
certs = $dir/certs
crl_dir = $dir/crl
database = $dir/index.txt
new_certs_dir = $dir/newcerts
certificate = $dir/cacert.pem
serial = $dir/serial
crl = $dir/crl.pem
I also used the existing certificates that come with openser-tls package. It
resulted the same.
Any suggestion or guidance is appreciated, thanks.
