Hello,
I am trying to build a setup that's probably a very generic. I have a number
of asterisk servers that I use to handle transcoding. What I'd like to use
SER for is to "spread" calls among these asterisk servers. Where should I
start looking?

Hello all,
I have some trouble with permissions module and allow_routing().
I want to allow_routing ONLY from IP 1.2.3.4 (which is my PSTN GW)
and all the rest will be denied (actually all the other will be
send for authentication with "radius_proxy_authorize").
What is the syntax of the permissions.* files ?
The following doesn't work..
permissions.deny:
ALL : ALL
permissions.allow:
"^sip:*@1.2.3.4" : "^sip:*@10.10.10.1"
where 10.10.10.1 is my SER's IP.
thanks for any help,
Kostas

Hi all,
I've just finish installing the OPENSER 1.0
Trying to make it work on the mysql part. Just can't get it to connect
to my mysql server properly with the correct authentication. It seems
like it tries to go in as the default userid/password
(openserro,openser) even though i've specified an alternate userid
password.
modparam("auth_db|uri_db|usrloc|alias_db", "db_url",
"mysql://ser:heslo@localhost/ser")
Refer to above , this line is already included in the openser.cfg. As u
might have see, i am trying to migrate to openser without having to
create the database with all the users again. Please advise how to i
troubleshoot.
Regards,
Sam

Hello,
a new version of "OpenSER Database Structure" document submitted by
Norman Brandinger is posted at:
http://openser.org/docs/OpenSER_Database_Structure.html
It describe the meaning of the columns in the tables used by openser.
Once again, many thanks to Norman!
Cheers,
Daniel
Hello,
is it at the moment possible to run SER and SerWeb on two different pc's? In
SerWeg config-file you have to define the path to "ser_fifo". But i cant
access the ser_fifo which is running on another PC. Is there any example or
discussion already?
Thank you in Advance!

Hi,
While trying to setup auth_db() with mysql, I got the following error messages in /var/log/messages.
table_version(): Invalid number of rows received: 2, location
Feb 16 17:55:17 localhost ./ser[13709]: register_udomain(): Error while querying table version
Feb 16 17:55:17 localhost ./ser[13709]: domain_fixup(): Error while registering domain
I used ser_mysql.sh create to generate the ser database. It looks like that ser has two location entries in its version table. I tried to use ser_mysql.sh to reinstall the ser database but it ended up the same. What should I do to correct this?

How do you setup a multi-domain SER using a database? I've seen examples
where you hard code into ser.cfg a regular expression for each domain. Is
there a call that can do something similar as in compare the URI with
returned values from the database?
I tried this:
if(is_from_local()) {
sl_send_reply("600", "is local");
break;
};
but it didn't fire for existing or non-existing domains. Does anyone have
suggestions as to what should be done instead, or what needs to be fixed?
I've attached my ser.cfg in case it's of any help.
Thanks for your help,
