Hello,
I have installed openser-1.0.1 on 2 SIP proxies, and registered one
user to each proxy.
Such as: 1001@proxy1 2001@proxy2 , I am using 1001 to call 2001.
It seems that proxy1 cannot relay SIP packets to proxy2. How can I
deal with it?
I am using the default configuration file openser.cfg. Is there any
problem?
Btw, I added some log information to openser.cfg such as log(4, "debug
info....")
and "log_stderror" has been set to "yes", but I cannot see any debug
infomation on stderr.
I don't know WHY.
Is there any body would like to give me some advice ? THANKS A LOT !
Gh Li
Hi,
You might not have started the mysql server. First start it and then try again.

Thanks Joao Pereira, earlier install is fixed by doing a yum install gcc, yum install biston, yum install flex. I have a new problem now when Creating MySQL Database.

Hi all,
I have been getting this error for some of the calls made from
mediaproxy,
error: use_media_proxy(): empty response from mediaproxy
Any idea what is it ? It appears when i tried to do a use_media_proxy()
What does it means ?
Regards,
Sam
Hi,
Who is giving you that notice. If I undrestand wright, you are using SER as
sip proxy and asterisk as media gateway. What adapters (PSTN, ISDN, GSM ...)
are you using on asterisk? Did you try to make two concurent calls with
users on asterisk?
Do you have tihis line in extensions.conf : exten => xxx, xxx,Hangup
How did you configure your adapter, depending on it's type?

I have been unable to use the speeddial module.
There is some interesting behavior. Maybe a bug?
When using:
sd_lookup("speeddial");

After testing with the usrloc and registrar settings
for use_domain to "1", I have discovered a problem.
Calls routing in from my gateway are not routing to
the registered UAs. The registered UAs are not in the
same domain as the gateway and I believe the modparam
setting is preventing it.
What is the solution to this dilemma?
Aliases? If so, for whom? Do I add alias domains for
the UAs to match the gateway domain? Or do I add
domain aliases for the gateway UA.
Thanks! F
