also make sure you have the extra fields in the radacct table.

I am trying to use dbaccounting with mediaproxy. Undfortunately it
doesn't seem to send anything to mysql db.
How can I trace where the problem is ?

Hi guys. Does SER receive greater benefit from CPU, RAM or harddrive
upgrades? I have SER running on a P4 3GHz with 1GB of RAM and 7200RPM
drives. I've searched through the serusers and serdev mailing lists for
this information, but haven't been able to find a definitive answer.

Is there any way I can forward all calls to 555-1212 to server a.b.c.d? No
phone actually connects to my SER server, they connect to other servers. I
would just like to be able to have the SER server forward calls to these
servers. I can do it by editing the ser.cfg, but would like to be able to
do it using the database or radius. All I have found though is it using
user accounts. Any ideas?

I am looking for your expert help.
I am building ser 0.8.12 on my fedora core 4, just because it is the
highest version provided by iptel, while debian has all the newest goodies
to .9+. In that, ser's mysql.so links to libmysqlclient.so.10 and this
creates problems;
*** After ser starts, it immediately shuts down when it loads auth_db.so.
due to "authentication protocol" mismatch with mysql server 4.12 which is
shipped with Fedora core.
Is there 3rd party ser mysql module that uses libmysqlclient.so.14
somewhere? Or is it possible to compile newer verion source to work on
fedora?
Basically I am looking for ser mysql module that calls so.14 and can run
on fedora.

reading acc modules README:
* There is no session accounting -- OpenSER maintains no
sessions. If one needs to correlate INVITEs with BYEs for
example for purpose of billing, then it is better done in
the entity which collects accounting information.
Otherwise, SIP server would have to become
sessions-stateful, which would very badly impact its
scalability.
so it's impossible to do radius accounting for billing purpose?
i need a B2BUA for that? any hints?

If I send a Subscribe with event=presence.winfo, SER answers with
"Unsupported document format". In my config file, I have the line
"watcherinfo_notify", 1.
Where is the problem? I can't find an error in my Subscribe message.

I have 2 alias IP (one IP to real network and another IP to network
10.0.0.0) in Proxy SIP, in ProxyIP (file mediaproxy.ini) I need to put the
IP.
How can I put this 2 IPs in ProxyIP (file mediaproxy.ini)?

I did a bit more poking at the problem. It seems almost like the call
process just breaks down in the signaling. All the packets seem to get
to their destination up to the last ACK packet before the two clients
start broadcasting their audio and video to one another. All other SIP
packets after that seem to also wind up with the private IPs put on
them.
I put together the following scripting to be put down in the route
section:
#This conditional is to try and redeem ACKs that some how managed to get
a private address attached to them.
#This is basically a hack to try and "normalize" the packets coming
through and pray they work.

This, while not pretty, at least routes the packets, but the clients are
being picky about the things.
Client A and Client B register to the server
Client A calls Client B...Call Fails
Client B calls Client A after the previous call...Call Connects
All other calls back and forth are fine until the clients unregister.
Could there be something I'm missing? I dunno if I hit on a bug or
something, but it seems rather odd that everything up to that one point
is fine.
