Bogdan,
Below is the first part of openser.cfg. As you can see, I am not loading a lot of modules. This system has 4GB of RAM. The errors are still occurring. I did have more modules, and removed them, and the problem still persists. How can I get that memory dump? Sending the process a USR1 has no effect.

Hello.
Yes, i made some test a few weeks ago, and works great.
Take a look at : http:// www.onsip.org <http://www.onsip.org> .
BTW, is there any news about the issue 5a for the onsip manual?
Thanks!

I'm using OpenSER 1.0.0 under OpenBSD 3.9-stable amd64.
An user of our SIP server have a VoIP PBX called "voispeed".
Their calls always hung up after 20 seconds because they say that our
SIP server doesn't correctly handle the branch parameter.
They say that RFC3261 specifies that ACK messages for a 2xx reply MUST
use a different "branch" parameter (contrary to ACK messages to non 2xx
replies). But it seems that OpenSER doesn't recognize these ACKs with
different branch parameter and keeps sending the 200 reply.
Can somebody confirm this bug in OpenSER?
Ant solution?
Thanks.

Subject: [Serusers] SER with Heartbeat in two node cluster
All,
I am trying to implement a two-node cluster using heartbeat
on two SIP SER proxies running on Linux. I am having a bit
of trouble as it appears the two proxies are sharing
messages rather than acting as an active and standby.
Has anyone succesfully implemented this type of
configuration and/or does anyone know a good reference for
enabling this configuration? Thanks in advance.
Steve

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean in "last 8 digits" ?

Hi all,
I'm trying to get openser to act as an SBC using the mediaproxy module and
the rtpproxy (built from the cvs).
openser is configured to run in a multihomed mode.
I'm starting rtpproxy in debug mode: rtpproxy -f -l 10.110.1.174/10.111.5.15
The rtpproxy is binding to both IPs.
When an INVITE is received on the 10.110 interface, I call
force_rtp_proxy().
Regrdless of the "i" or "e" parameter that I pass to the force_rtp_proxy(),
the rtpproxy is replying with the same IP.
output from rtpproxy if force_rtp_proxy("i"):
received command "UI 4a2fabe1-24c7fe03(a)10.110.50.4 10.110.48.7 10046
60e4ff4a-soma;1"
new session 4a2fabe1-24c7fe03(a)10.110.50.4, tag 60e4ff4a-soma;1 requested,
type strong
new session on a port 35000 created, tag 60e4ff4a-soma;1
pre-filling caller's address with 10.110.48.7:10046
sending reply "35000 10.110.1.174
"
output from rtpproxy if force_rtp_proxy("e"):
received command "UE 44709fe7-423307f6(a)10.110.49.134 10.110.48.7 10012
1f713156-soma;1"
new session 44709fe7-423307f6(a)10.110.49.134, tag 1f713156-soma;1 requested,
type strong
new session on a port 35002 created, tag 1f713156-soma;1
pre-filling caller's address with 10.110.48.7:10012
sending reply "35002 10.110.1.174
"
The IP address sent out in the outgoing INVITE is 10.110.1.174 instead of
10.111.5.15.
Is this the expected behaviour from the rtpproxy?
Do I need to pass other params to the force_rtp_proxy() function?
Regards,
-ovi
Hi,
I need to modify From field of INVITE messages.
Is that possible ? How ?
The username is too long because of some database issues; but the outgoing caller id (from uri) should be last 8 digits of the username. How can I do that ?
Thanks,
ilker
