hi
SRV records are all in place, but as I trace the DNS lookup queries sent
by the OpenSER host, it only asks for A records for "iptel1.ipatl.se" and
no NAPTR or SRV. the hostname that the NAPTR and SRV records points to is
"sip.iptel1.ipatl.se", but this is not resolved by OpenSER for the route-header
destination.
but, for the initial INVITE, OpenSER correctly queries NAPTR and SRV rr to
resolv the hostname/IP of the server responsible for the domain "iptel1.ipatl.se".
i'm familiar with the rfc3263, and all is set up correctly and working just fine.
best regards,

Hi,
I guess acc_db is for local db accounting.
How can I use this module ?
I couldn't see any documentation in the sources.

Okay, I'm trying to use uac_replace_from to anonymize the From: in order to
suppress ANI. I think I've got it, but it seems like the behavior isn't what
I expect. First, the relevent config file section:
if (search("Anonymous")) {
uac_replace_from("","sip:anonymous@xxxxxxx.com");
append_rpid_hf("",";party=calling;id-type=subscriber;screen=yes;privacy=full");
log(1,"Made a call anon");
};
Now, the headers as they go in and come out:

And finally what I'm seeing in the log:

So what am I missing here? It looks like uac_replace_from is finding the
right URI and replacing it, just not properly. I've already gone into CVS
and I don't see any relevent changes.
Any help? Please?

I restarted mediaproxy and now it doesn't say MySQL error: (2006, 'MySQL server has gone away')
but when I check mysql logs I see that only an UPDATE query is sent from the mediaproxy when the call ends.
But there is no row to update.
Do I need to use "ser accounting" for "mediaproxy accounting" to work fine ?
Thanks,
ilker

Hi,
I still couldn't solve the mediaproxy accounting problem.
In the syslog I see following messages :

Hi,
I am trying to use dbaccounting with mediaproxy. Undfortunately it doesn't seem to send anything to mysql db.
How can I trace where the problem is ?
My mediaproxy accounting config is :
[Accounting]
dbaccounting = on
[Database]
user = ser
password = heslo
host = 127.0.0.1
database = radius
table = radacct

hi Ilker,
Pl check if you have the mysql python package installed. On Debian the name of the packet is python-mysqldb
ii python-mysqldb 1.2.1c3-4 A Python interface to
MySQL
also make sure you have the extra fields in the radacct table.

Hi,
I am trying to use dbaccounting with mediaproxy. Undfortunately it doesn't seem to send anything to mysql db.
How can I trace where the problem is ?
My mediaproxy accounting config is :
[Accounting]
dbaccounting = on
[Database]
user = ser
password = heslo
host = 127.0.0.1
database = radius
table = radacct
Thanks,
ilker

Sorry for the subject; I forgot to change it in my first post...
Thanks for your answer.
Can I use YATE on the same server with SER and configure it only to accept sip from ser and send to h323 gateways ?
Can it make transcoding ? (from ILBC to g729 or gsm to g729) ?
Btw, I know about Asterisk but that's more likely a PBX solution which I don't need. I only need interworking and transcoding.
Thanks,
ilker

Hello! everybody...
I am new in openSer and i want use it like load
balancer with 2 SIP Servers behind it, so i red the
docs about dispatcher and when i forward the request
e.g REGISTER the SIP server that is responsable for
process this request (SER server) dosen't process the
request because it recives the request that is send to
the load balancer.
My question is if i need to rewrite something part of
the SIP message laike a host and if this is rifth how
