Hi,
I want to setup the sip server in below mentioned way : -
1 server act like - proxy
1 server act like - registrar
1 server act like - sip domain
Is it possible to setup like this?
If you could you please give me some idea how to do it.
Thanks,
Ranjeet

I would like to use LCR so that outbound calls from my domain may try
one of several gateways in sequence. The callers (from uri) will not be
authenticated or registered to the proxy doing the LCR. Will LCR work in
this type of environment? A few test calls have failed so far.
Thanks,Steve

Hello,
I look at the new sip firmware however i don't
undanstand the presence features.
I don't use LCS but SER as presence server this one is
able to provide a ressource list server and xcap
server
for sip buddies lists .
Does polycom phones can suscribe to a
sip:lists@domain.com for example to watch buddies
status ?

Dear all,
I would like to say thanks to all of you for your kind-hearted read my message. Thank you very much.
All, I need you help now.Please..
Now, I tried to build openser with TLS in Fedora Core 5. Before, I use Redhat 9 and the openser installation can be build successfully.( I can make a call with TLS support)
But, Why when I tried to install it in Fedora Core 5, the openser can not run?(there is no pid for openser)
But, When I erase the TLS configuration (TLS script for enable the TLS) in openser.cfg, the openser can run successfully.(There is a pid).
So, in my opinion, the TLS Script in openser.cfg is error.
But, I need this script to make secure openser server (openser with TLS support).
What should I do? I do hope anybody can give a suggestion. Please help me...Please..
Thank you very much
Regards,
Ferianto

Dear all,
Thank you very much.
Now, I tried to build serweb in my openser server. I user openser-1.1.0-tls and for serweb, I use serweb-2004-07-27.
I can install it successfully. I mean that from the serweb browser, I can login as admin and I can login with username that I have added from "openserctl add" command before.
But, I have a problem when I add a new user from serweb browser.
When I try to add a new user, I always get the error message in register confirmation.
The error message says that : "SQL query error in line 43".
I have tried to analize it. But I can not. Maybe because I have lack skill in this. I do hope anybody can give me some suggestions. Please help me....Please...
Thank you very much
Regards,
Aldi

Hi all,
I recently added a function to openser.cfg as shown below:
if (uri=~"^sip:919(00|76)[0-9]{7}@") {
acc_db_request("403 - 900/976 Disabled", "acc");
xlog("L_INFO", "Cancel attempt to call 9xx number (not 911),
db recorded\n");
exit;
};
but when a user calls the 900/976 prefix, it records in the database and the
caller is restricted access, however, the caller waits too long before
finally hearing a busy signal. Is there a way to speed up a return on the
busy signal (some type of timer) or even possibly transfer the call to
Asterisk IVR to hear a recording like, call cannot be completed or
something, or some type of faster 486 busy. Need advice and how should i
implement.
Thanks,
Tracy

I want to install a new computer with OpenSer.
In the past I had some troubles with the right OS and right hardware.
The system I want to build is for testing only, but if it is working it
should be ported to other machines easy.
I have the choice of:
AMD or Intel
I have the choice of
SuSE 10.1
Debian
Ubuntu
I would like to use (in this order):
AMD & SuSE 10.1
AMD & Ubuntu 6.06
AMD & Debian
Intel & SuSE 10.1
Intel & Ubuntu 6.06
Intel & Debian
What do you use? Did you have any problems with compiling and setting up
with one of the above configuration?
bye
Ronald

Well, 0.8.14 is the latest in the 0.8 series, while the latest stable
release is the 0.9.x series. Maybe you want to consider upgrading?
Apart from that, I see a lot of numbers, but you don't say what you
think is wrong?!
