Hi all,
We are working VoIP Project. We are using OpenSER 1.0.1. Unfortunately it
doesn't support xcap and presence modules. Only the version 1.2.0 of the
OpenSER.
Is it ready openser 1.2.0? Or still delay?
Thanks, regards,
Danilo
Hi all
I am testing nat pinging. I have a natted UA and 2 opensers with diffrent ips. I decided to ping same nat from 2 opensers. I am going to have ability to increase ping interval from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. But I don't have any idea that cross pinging works or not. Is there any one at there whom tested before or any suggestions??
Thanks

The command "serctl ul show" displays an
'Expires' entry.
I'm wondering:
* what is the default expiration value?
* where/how does this get set, and is it configurable?
Many thanks!
Hi everybody,
I am trying to achieve TLS setup between the UAs and OpenSER. I am using PAP2 and SPA series for testing.
Now the PAP2 does not support TLS transport, is it possible to use TLS setup between OpenSER and PAP2 using DNS-SRV? I tried using DNS-SRV but was not successful.
The SPA supports TLS transport. I have generated the priviate key and required certs in the OpenSER. For SPA to work, how do we incorporate the certificate inside the SPA?
Or should I get a certificate generated from Linksys and then add it to my CA list in OpenSER?
I am not very familiar with the TLS concept but still learning.
Thanks in advance.
w/regards,
Jayesh

It's more than possible there's a module or piece of documentation that
I've been unable to uncover in my attempts to solve this issue.
Basically, I'm looking for a way to do prefix or pattern based routing
using a datasource (such as dbtext or a real database). I don't want to
have to hack an openser.cnf file for each server I setup. That would just
be silly.
I've looked at PDT, but 1) it does source domain matching, which I could
really care less about, and 2) it's misbehaving or misdocumented, as it
won't allow for more than one prefix to be defined for a single source
domain. I'd really love to be able to do pattern matches and route that
way. But at this point, anything is better than hacking the config file.
Any suggestions?

Hi!!
I am going to set up the sems-ser configuration.
In the mini-sems-ser-howto there is a clue to have separate instance of ser
for sems. Will sems 0.10.0 work with the ser ottendorf release??

Everybody is encouraged to update the page below:
http://openser.org/dokuwiki/doku.php/install:1.1.x-to-1.2.x
If you do not know how to explain clear, but you know (feel) something
changed from 1.1.x to 1.2.0 in a module or other place, just introduce
in bold red a short phrase at the beginning or in module's section.
Someone will see later and elaborate it.
Cheers,
Daniel
