Dear all:
I want to change the content of request uri. I use this function ,exec_dset(), to change it.
This is my configuration:
if (!lookup("location")) {
exec_dset("/usr/local/etc/openser/shell/sh1");
#sl_send_reply("404", "Not Found");
exit;
};
shell scrip: sh1
#!/bin/sh
num=200(a)xx.xx.xx.xx
if [! -z "$num" ]
then
echo "$*"
else
echo "sip:$num"
fi
but it doesn't work.
error message:
ERROR:exec_str: no uri from /usr/local/etc/openser/shell/sh1 XX(a)xx.xx.xx.....
Can somebody tell me what's wrong with my shell script.
Thank you for your response

hi,
Is there an easy way to check what kind of transport is going to be used by SER in the next hop of the sent message??
do I have to do all the checks considering the Route header or Request URI (tcp or sips) ??
The reason is that I want to force my traffic to go through boundary proxy and in case of tcp and udp different functions should be used in ser.cfg.
Thanks in advance
Cheer Tomasz
hi,
i did not, as i thought it didn't it because it was registering as a
public IP already. i will try that. thanks

Hi All,
I'm testing the default of config of ser, and just adding some nathelper
command to make it 2 UA's work, I have an x-lite and a PAP2 both are
behind nat.
X-lite is being detected by ser as behind NAT, but the PAP2 isn't, the
ser thinks the PAP2 is registering with public IP.
When I call from PAP2 to X-lite, i have no problem, because the c= IN on
the SIP/200 OK reply is already public IP, so wehen PAP2 sends an ACK or
BYE it sends it the c=IN of X-lite which is public IP.
But when I call vice versa, that PAP send c=IN as private IP so when
X-lite sends an ACK/BYE, it wil send it to the private IP. which
obviously will not be able to be recieved by PAP2.
How can I fix this? Another thing i don't get is that why PAP2 registers
as not behind NAT, but when it replies to messages, it is sending the
private IP on the c= IN.
Anyone experienced this before?
TIA

Hi all,
Unless somebody objects, I assume the responsibility as coordinator of
the voting on the technical board.
Voting on candidates for the technical board of iptel.org is now open
and will be open the next seven days. The rules governing the voting can
be found at http://www.iptel.org/technicalboard/rules.
A summary/howto can be found below.
Where to send your vote
===================
To make a public vote: send an email to one or more of the iptel.org
lists seruser(a)iptel.rog, serdev(a)iptel.org, semsdev(a)iptel.org
To make a secret vote: send an email to the coordinator at greger(a)iptel.org
How to vote
===========
The candidates can be found at
http://www.iptel.org/nominations_and_voting_technical_board_2007. We
have a total of eight candidates.
Send an email with subject line "Vote: Technical Board" listing 1-5
people from the candidate list that you want on the iptel.org technical
board. Each name listed in your email will give one vote to that person.
Please note:
* The board has an assigned seat for a SEMS representative and there are
two candidates from SEMS (marked on the list of candidates). The SEMS
seat will be assigned to the candidate with the highest number of votes
counting only these two.
* Two members of the board must have SER CVS write privileges (SER
developer). Thus, the two candidates with such privileges having the
highest number of votes will be elected.
* The remaining three seat do not have any restrictions. Thus, once the
SEMS and SER developer representatives have been elected, the remaining
three candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected.
* The number of votes for each candidate will be listed on
http://www.iptel.org/nominations_and_voting_technical_board_2007
What exactly means this message, it doesn't seems so important because
everything works ok for my users.

Olivier

Hi everybody,
Just a quick question, is there a parameter in SER that I can set to control the INVITE will be Cancelled/TimedOout(towards the Called Party) if the called party keeps ringing without picking up the phone?.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Cyp.
