Hi, I just came across a strange "feature" in xlog for ser 0.9.6. When I send output to stderr, no problem ... but using the same config and sending to syslog, some xlog output gets trunkated :O I have these lines in my config: xlog( "L_NOTICE", "============================================================\n"); xlog( "L_NOTICE", "==[%Tf]\n" ); xlog( "L_NOTICE", "==[%is ## %pp]\n==\n" ); #Print the whole received SIP message buffer ... xlog( "L_NOTICE", "\n%mb\n\n"); And this is what I get in /var/log/messages: Jul 23 01:45:09 FC3lara /usr/local/sbin/cafesRouter[21957]: ===================================== Jul 23 01:45:09 ser[21957]: ==[Mon Jul 23 01:45:09 2007] Jul 23 01:45:09 ser[21957]: ==[192.168.200.141 ## 21957] == ntent-Length: 0ne/1.65.377a (SJ Labs)000000;rport2.0 As you can see, the part of xlog which prints the sip message gets truncated ... it only prints the last part (ntent-Length .... ). [OpenSER-Users] Dispatcher Module

Hi, ok now i have openser and asterisk running (at the moment i can only connect to the database with asterisk if it is on the local client but hope i can fix it soon, if someone had a suggestion i will be glad [ res_odbc.c:559 odbc_obj_connect: res_odbc: Error SQLConnect=-1 errno=1044 [unixODBC][MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Access denied for user 'asterisk'@'%' to database 'asterisk' ] ) What i want to do is to use openSER as Loadbalancer http://wow.real94.de/openSER.jpg As soon as i try load the dispatcher module im not able to start openser. How do i have to use the dispachter module?

[OpenSER-Users] Possible Problem in code mysql/dbase.c, MySQL issue

Hi all, I got problems after compiling OpenSER Rev. 2492. Including Module mysql, after compiling and executing openser, there occurs an error message about an undefined mysql method. In modules/mysql/dbase.c, there are the methods line 682 db_mysql_print_values() and on line 692 db_mysql_print_set. I think they have been replaces to db/db_ut.c as db_print_values() and db_print_set respectively. Also, these new methods have a parameter val2str as last parameter. Can this be something that has been forgotten to change in Rev. 2353? If I change the functions according db_ut.h, openser runs! [Serusers] SER as PRESENCE SERVER

Hello Ram, I see the link showing an integration between OPENSER and ASTERISKS. Does this apply to SER and ASTERISKS or it's only with OPENSER? Your clarification will be much appreciated. I am using OpenSer with two Asterisk-b2bua Sip client<--------->OpenSer<--------------------->Asterisk-b2bua<------->PSTN | | <----------------------------->Asterisk-b2bua<----------->PSTN In OpenSer configure file I am using ds_select_dst("2", "4"); to perform load sharing the calls to PSTN. But when Sip client hang up first, I don't konw how to make OpenSer forward the Bye message from Sip client to correct Asterisk-b2bua to hang up the call at PSTN side. Can any body can help me. [OpenSER-Users] OpenSer as Loadbalancer for Asterisk

Hi, is there a howto out there how to use OpenSer as a Loadbalancer for Asterisk. It's part of an exercise of an university course. It should be a LAN SIP envirenment only. 1 Asterisk got a fictitious CPU load of 75% by SIP calls and it should be balanced on 2. How does it work? I think the SIP clients has to register at the openSER. Am i right?
