Hi *,
I installed the new version 1.2.2, but now the loading of modules fails
when loading the domain module. With 1.2.1 everything worked fine.
Some more tests lead me to the conclusion that the problem is likely to
be caused by accessing the database, since I commented out the domain
module and I could even register a user which does not need to access
the database (no authorization required), but when trying to register a
user with digest authorization, it dies when accessing the database.
Symptons are: On the first database access, the process dies
immediately, without further messages in /var/log/messages or elsewhere.
Setting debug=9 doesn't help to gather more information.
Anyone else who can confirm this problem? Any ideas/solutions?
BTW: I'm using postgres, not mysql - just in case it matters...

I'm using SER 0.9.6. I know that, with multiple IP addresses on the SER
machine, I have to add an option to let SER understand that it's on a
box that's multihomed, so that it doesn't send data out a different IP
from the one that was originally contacted.
Does something similar have to be done if there's one IP but SER is
listening on multiple ports?

Hi all!!!
I'm experiencing quite difficulties setting up a dedicated (and separated)
presence server with NATted end-points and the dstblacklist feature.
I'd like to get some info about the construction of the most important
headers (Req-URI,Contact,To,From,Via,Routr) for the different NOTIFY
modalities depending on the state of the subscription.
Setting up async_auth_queries I've seen the pending and the active NOTIFY
have different Req-URI and the second one is blocked by the NAT router.
Further mid-dialog NOTIFYs providing changes in the presence status has also
different headers...
My main concern is whether the info for constructing the routing headers is
taken from location table, from watcherinfo.dialog table, or from the
incoming message...I know I could follow the code but an explanation would
provide a really helpfull overview and later checking the code will be much
simpler.
Thanks in advance,
Samuel.
I'm trying to implement failover using the load_contacts/next_contacts from
the lcr module. The problem I have is the INVITE message is sent
simultaneously to both contact's instead of trying the first and then the
second. I keep getting 'load_contacts(): DEBUG: Nothing to do - all same
q!' when I've set them up with separate q values??
Anyone else have issues with this? Did I set up the data incorrectly or
possibly something in the config?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice
Shannon

Hi guys
I'm new to OpenSER so I used a article to install and configure it, I was
able to connect to it from my lan, but it never works from my public IP.
This is the tutorila I used:
http://www.oldskoolphreak.com/tfiles/voip/beginners_openser.txt I forwarded
port 5060 to the server but its no use. I also tried this on two diffrent
ISPs with the same result. Is there anything that I need to change in the
configuration to make it accept connections from a public IP?

Thank You

Hello,
I have just committed to svn the update of the OpenSER FreeBSD port
to 1.2.2 version. It will be committed now to the FreeBSD ports tree.
FreeBSD packages for OpenSER 1.2.2 version will appear in all FreeBSD
mirrors in the next package build (usually once a week).
Regards.
