Good morning everybody,
I have one problem, I have set up an architecture with OpenSER + Freeradius + CDRTool + rtpproxy + mysql and it works, thanks to you and special
thanks to Dan-Christian Bogos (with his freeradius-cdrtool module)!!
My problem, is that when a call don't end properly (example: hard disconnection or kill of the SIP client process), no BYE request are sent, and no
accounting stop! So the cdr are not generated!
So I was wondering if someone knew how to deals with it, like sending SIP UPDATE with openser (like SIP OPTIONS PING for keeping NAT traversal)???
Have a nice day!

Hi, first of all sorry for this OffTopic. I've tryed to contact VON organizers
for my question but got no response, maybe people here can help me.
It's just about the VON OpenSer course registration process. I filled the
register form and select PayPal pay type. I wasn't answered about my PayPal
account and so, and I got:
* Registration Summary:
Confirmation#: 60130446
Conference Type: OpenSER Admin Training Sessions
Payment type: PayPal
Ends with:
Amount Charged: $315.00
Amount Paid: $0.00
Date:
No more, I know no more. Could someody explain me when should I pay for the
course and how can I know if I'm registered or not? I've already bought the
plain tickets so... XD
Thanks a lot and regards.

Hi Kaeman,
as per the logs you have sent me (please in the future keep
users(a)openser.org on cc so others can use also the results of our time
invested work), it looks like you are not handing properly the RTP
part.
You have a combination between proxy and non proxy of RTP. If you
check your packets you will see that for the case of INVITE from
RemoteProxy1-> OpenSER -> RemoteProxy2, you will rewrite the
connection IP with the OpenSER IP Address (RTP Sockets) so the
RemoteProxy2 will think that he must speak with OpenSER, but for the
case of 183 replied back (200 OK, same case) you will not rewrite the
connection IP, and the RemoteProxy1 - call originator, will have the
feeling that he must send the RTP packets directly to RemoteProxy2.
Therefore you must decide the scenario you want: proxy all through
your openser (rtpproxy) or proxy nothing and let the parties speak
directly to each other and have only signaling passing through your
openser server.
Since you don't have a NAT case here, I thing it should be pretty easy
to do the correct setup.
Hope you did get my point.
Cheers,
DanB

I am currently using Sippy as a light b2bua to control my gateway and it is
working pretty well. There is unfortunately very little documentation on it but
it looks like the project is not dead (cf. http://www.b2bua.org). Can you be
more precise on what you want to know ?

hi:
I installed ser-0.9.6 on centos 5.
I start ser use ser -D -E.

When i registered with sip ua but the "SIP registration failed, status=408 (Request Timeout)" return.
The annex is the ser.cfg file and tested result with sipsak.
Can some help me on this critical issue. I'm using ser.0.9.6 version of
SER on Solaris10 (sparc). how can we enable error & info logs through
syslogd utility of UNIX?
My another query "Is SER config Build system available for ser version
0.9.6"

Dear Users,
Could any one tell or give me one sample of sending INFO Method with MSCML
as Message Body part?
I am working on one project in which XLite makes a call to a Media Server
using openser proxy and after some seconds delay proxy forms one packet of
INFO Method filling MSCML script in this and send to Media Server. This will
be an ivr call.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
Please see below for my terminal output. First, I installed SER using
sudo apt-get install ser, it indicated that it was working but no call
was accepted by it. I saw SIP register via wireshark. THen I removed it
and tried this second way.
Now I tried installing from source also but appears futile. Some files
are missing like deamonize.d???? ANY WAY OUT PLEASE??
