Hi there,
Im trying to run a Mediaproxy and Im recieving this error,
Feb 4 14:53:14 server proxydispatcher[22800]: 'Connection' object has no attribute 'autocommit'
I´ve had a google for this and its seems like it may be a bug python-sqlite or sqlite bug , but also I tried searching
for it on the python issue traker and didnt find anything. Is anyone else aware of this issue and any solution?
Im running:
Python 2.3.4
MySQL-python.i386 1.0.0-1.RHEL4.1
python-sqlite.i386 1.1.7-1.2.1
sqlite.i386 3.3.6-2
mysql server 5.1.22-rc
thanks for any help! Andy.
Hello,
can somebody give me a working example of configuration file, supporting
"Call transfer" or proper "REFER" passing?
Call transfer does not work with default openser.cfg and also with my
extended configuration or sipwise generated configuration.
My phones supports call transfer and it works well with asterisk, but no
success with openser. Can somebody give me an example config or hints,
what to do to make a working call transfer?
Thank you.

Ok, Rating engine seems to be working ok when I have a canonicalURI starting
"00"
and in the database I see this for a rated call:
Span: 1
Duration: 75 s
StartTime: 2008-02-02 12:33:15 (UK)
ProfileId: 442 for weekend
RateId: 442 for 0-24h
Rate: 0.0200 / 60 s
Price: 0.0250
However via the web interface in the CDR Section for the cost it is
displayed as "x.xxx" and no data is displayed in the detail section "Rating
Information" either... Any ideas what the issue is?
thanks Andy.

Hi all,
im trying to "trick" CDRTool into rating calls when my OpenSER isnt actually routing anything to a PSTN, Im trying just putting the handset username as an internation number without the leading zera (ie 44208888888) but CDRTool is rating ever call as zero cost.
Maybe its something to do with this, from the CDRTool rating document:
"The rating logic checks if the TLD exists in the billing_enum_tlds table. If it does, the rating engine tries to match the regexp field against the username part of the destination from the ENUM response, which has been saved in the Canonical URI. The match must return a fully qualified E164 number otherwise the call is considered to have ended to a no E164 destination and the call will be free of charge."
What constitutes a fully qualified E164 number? 44208888888(a)mydomain.com should be ok shouldnt it? I also tried
+44208888888(a)mydomain.com also without any success...
Its quite furstrating cos I cant see the logic as its applied by the rating system which would explain how it reaches the zero cost
result. It is certainly looking at the calls as they are made as its logging info to the syslog saying so, eg:
Feb 1 16:11:39 server CDRTool[22869]: ShowPrice Id=94 Timestamp=1201882245 Duration=6 inputTraffic=0 outputTraffic=0 From=003(a)domain.net To=44208888888(a)domain.net Gateway=x.x.x.x Application=audio ENUMtld=
Feb 1 16:11:39 server CDRTool[10751]: Normalization done in 0 s, memory usage: 4.96 MB
Feb 1 16:11:39 server CDRTool[10751]: Unlock ser_radius:radacct
Any ideas people?? Mediaproxy isnt actually required for billing is it? I understood it is optional for the documentation...??
Thanks for any help! Andy.
Hello everybody.
What is the linux distribution you recommend to run OpenXCAP Server? What
distribution allows an easy installation, and offers better performance?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Best regards.

Hello,
AG Projects launches MSRPRelay, an Open Source implementation of IETF
standard RFC 4976. MSRP relay is an extension to the MSRP protocol
(RFC 4975). Its main role is to help NAT traversal of Interactive
Messaging and file transfer sessions for SIP/MSRP endpoints located
behind NAT.
Background
-----------
A series of related instant messages between two or more parties can
be viewed
as part of a "message session", that is, a conversational exchange of
messages
with a definite beginning and end. This is in contrast to individual
messages
each sent independently. Messaging schemes that track only individual
messages
can be described as "page-mode" messaging, whereas messaging that is
part of a
"session" with a definite start and end is called "session-mode"
messaging.
Page-mode messaging is enabled in SIP via the SIP MESSAGE method, as
defined in
RFC 3428. Session-mode messaging has a number of benefits over page-mode
messaging, however, such as explicit rendezvous, tighter integration
with other
media-types, direct client-to-client operation, and brokered privacy
and security.
Message Session Relay Protocol (MSRP) is a protocol for transmitting a
series
of related instant messages in the context of a session. Message
sessions are
treated like any other media stream when set up via a rendezvous or
session
creation protocol such as the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). MSRP
Sessions
are defined in RFC 4975.
Out of the box, the software is designed to work in combinations with
the
subscriber database used by OpenSER (see http://openser.org).

Hi,
I'm trying to implement LDAP authentication with anonymous LDAP bind. I set the
ldap configuration file without ldap_bind_dn, ldap_bind_password attributes.
This step works fine. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to set the
openser.cfg file. I need to pass the bind DN and the user password to the
ldap_search function ; that's ok for the bind DN but I don't know how to procede
for the password. Can someone post an example please ?
Regards,
