Hello to all
I would like to enable Presence support and Jabber integration for my
Kamailio users, but I'm a bit confused.
I already installed Jabberd2. So, why do I need to enable presence
support in Kamailio?
Presence in Kamailio is only for VoIP clients that doesnt support
standard Jabber Instant Messaging?
Thanks

Hi all,
we're using kamailio 1.5.1 with modules htable and perl to generate
CDRs. Using htable we save some variables which are dumped to file using
the perl module at the end of the call.
We did a small stress test with 5 calls in parallel (each call about 20
seconds) and we got after about 6 hours the following error:
ERROR:core:pv_sprintf: pv_sprintf: Memory exhausted!
No CDRs were written anymore, the perl method was not called. Everything
else seems to run fine.
After stopping the stress test doing one simple call with a softphone
worked and a CDR had been written (without restarting kamailio!).
Perhaps the perl script is buggy?
Any ideas how to fix this are greatly appreciated. We don't think
extending the PKG_MEM_POOL_SIZE will solve the problem. This is
currently 4MB and should be enough for 5 concurrent calls!?!
Thanks,
Christian Koch

Hello,
I am using Textops Module, but i have one problem.
I am able to change sdp parameters to force the use of 1 codec, below an
exemple :
SDP from caller :
m=audio 9999 RTP/AVP 107 119 98 101
SDP to callee :
m=audio 9999 RTP/AVP 98 101
My problem is, i want to make sdp parameters cleaner :)
I want to remove a=rtpmap:107 and a=rtmap:119 from the body..
I am using textops function for that:
subst_body('/a=rtpmap:107 BV32\/16000 //');
it removed it well from the sdp parameters but leave an empty line :( like
this :
a=alt:2 1 : AWxJfaLh kK2my/RE 10.10.10.3 8588
a=fmtp:101 0-15
a=rtpmap:98 iLBC/8000=
a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000
a=sendrecv
a=nortpproxy:yes
it seems that the callee can't read the sdp session and the call is
rejected.
Any idea how to remove these empty lines ?
cheers,
karhu

Hi all
I'm new to the kamailio actually this is my first try.
After reeding for a while various documents and the book for the openser.
I tried to create my first kamailio installation and configuration.
I have to admit that the kamailio / openser has a steep learning curve.
Anyway I have created the attached script but it doesn't work as
intended( I tried my best), even though I'm able to register users and
make calls between them, I'm unable to make outgoing calls.
From what I see when it reaches the route[10] it ignores the routing
entries and it fails giving me the 404 error message at the end of the
route[10]
On the attached file are the logs of the kamailio, the config file and
also a sip trace
10.10.10.1 is the ip of the kamailio server
10.10.10.2 is the ip of the test softphone
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Regards
Panagiotis

Hi, if a UDP response has no "Content-Length" header (so it's 0),
which would be the value of $cl variable?
This is, if I do:
if ( $cl != 0 ) ...
will this "if" match when the message has no "Content-Length" header?
Another question: In case "Content-Lenght: 22" but the real message
body is 33, which value will $cl report?
Thanks.

This one with carrieroute tables ...
With a clean database I get ...

table "version")
May 24 16:27:11 [30535] ERROR:carrierroute:carrierroute_db_init: during table

If I manualy set carrierfailureroute table version to 3 (UPDATE version SET
table_version = 3 where table_name = 'carrierfailureroute';) I get the
opposite error:
May 24 16:30:31 [30594] INFO:core:init_mod: initializing module carrierroute
