Hi,
I've been working my way throught this tutorial (
http://kb.asipto.com/asterisk:realtime:kamailio-3.0.x-asterisk-1.6.2-astdb)
and all it working well thanks. In the other benifits section you mention
that this configuration can be used with multiple instances of Asterisk.
Could you elaborate a little on this?? Is this achieved using the
Dispatcher module? I'm trying to get this working with two instances of
Asterisk but I can figure out how to specifc multiple asterisk servers as
oppossed to the single.
asterisk.bindip = "192.168.178.23" desc "Asterisk IP Address"
asterisk.bindport = "5080" desc "Asterisk Port"
Thanks in advance
Ian
Hi,
I have been working on adding full RFC5626 support to Kamailio in my spare time - but it is taking longer than I hoped because I haven't been able to spend as much time as I wanted working on it.
There is a branch in git (pd/outbound) where I have put some of the module skeleton code, and I still hope to get this done and tested well before the end of the year (and certainly in time for Kamailo 3.4).
Regards,
Peter

Hello,
I am testing the "topology hiding" module (topoh) on kamailio-3.2.0 and
every-time I start kamailio I get these error messages related with the
topoh module:
Sep 20 16:51:14 trd-sgw1 /usr/proxy/kamailio/sbin/kamailio[31768]:
ERROR: topoh [th_mask.c:79]: +++
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789.-
Sep 20 16:51:14 trd-sgw1 /usr/proxy/kamailio/sbin/kamailio[31768]:
ERROR: topoh [th_mask.c:80]: +++
y0GxFtSUVeTOMWzHPam.jKR93gCoNpkicrJBqIEhvYbnd175AfLl4u6wZs-X8Q2D
I am only getting those errors when kamailio is starting. Kamailio runs
fine and it hides my internal topology, on the SIP Headers, without any
error message.
I tried to add/modify/remove several topoh parameters but I am always
getting those errors starting kamailio.
Any idea why I getting it? How can I get rid of it?
I don't feel comfortable to apply that configuration on my production
servers knowing that kamailio outputs an error when starting.
Thanks,

Hi,
I use "kamctl sercmd pkg.stats" to check the private memory status.
I notice that the workers for the proccess "slow timer", "timer", "MI
FIFO", use a lot of memory.
My system configuration does "mt_reload" for around 5 million lines every
hour, it looks like in time, the pkg memory of the workers above is
growing......
I set the private memory to 16M instead of 4M. Now the used size (after 3
weeks) is 4M.
I will upgrade to 3.3.0 soon and will use mem_join=1, will it help the
private memory defrag as well?
How can I increase the number of workers for these processes? Will it help
increasing it if possible?
BR,
Uri

Hello Everybody,
I'm an university teacher and founder of the nil.uniza.sk portal with some
SIP/Kamailio tutorials. I'd like to use the Kamailio server as the basement
for my class lecturers about the IP multimedia communication systems. May
anyone help me and provide a link to usable presentation about the kamailio,
which should I use and probably extend in my classes? I search the web but
nothing appropriate have not found
thanks

Hi,
org.openmobilealliance.xcap-directory isn't supported by the xcap-server module.
Adding support for this shouldn't be difficult though.

Peter

in xcap module readme there is an example xcap server config file and it
does not include in xcap-caps aiud
org.openmobilealliance.xcap-directory. does it mean that xcap-directory
application is not currently supported or could the aiud just be added
there?

Hi,
I faced the following error during installing "sip-router" by command
"make install" after successful compilation by command "make all". I
will appreciate you so much if you can shed light on. My system is 32
bit Fedora. Thanks in advance.
