Hi
we have developed the custom module which stores the registered users
in a file.now we are trying to remove the expired contacts using the
rtimer module.while saving the registered users to the file we also
store the expires values in static array.but when we try to
decrement the these values in a function called with the help of
rtimer module. the values used by this periodic function are not
modified ones but the initial which are zero. is it that we cant pass
the modified values of the global variables to the timed functions.
to get around this problem, we also registered the timer in our module
but got same results !!!!!!!
Please Help.
Thanks and regards .
Hi list.
I have a strange problem with syslog.
Kamailio doesn't send any messages to syslog from UDP workers that are
bound to sock=127.0.0.1:5060.
Neither LM_DBG() from a source code nor xlog("any level", "") works.
I use kamailio-3.2.4 with this opions:
log_stderror=no
debug=3.
With log_stderror=yes kamailio writes all debug messages to stderr
without any problems.

Hello,
following some discussion over the weekend at Fosdem, it seems that some
of submitted patches got forgotten in the mailing list archives and even
on tracker.
If any of you submitted patches was not accepted or rejected for a
persistent reason, please write again to sr-dev mailing list referring
to it. It is a short period still good for getting them in v4.0.
In general, if there is no more activity regarding a patch for one or
two weeks, come back and ask for an update. We don't mind reminders
(especially because many of us do have a heavy loaded traveling schedule).
Cheers and happy testing upcoming v4.0,
Daniel

Greetings,
I'm in the process of adding logic to 'detect' the direction of my
message, I have to set:
rtpproxy_manage("ei")
or
rtpproxy_manage("ie")
respectively. Rather then hard-coding IP addresses in my
configuration, I was curious how other people over come this? Perhaps
tagging their call control in some other method?

Hi!
I am choosing a softswitch to serve more than 50000 (up to 100000) active
subscribers (each subscriber is using SIP registration). Please tell me , I
want to understand can kamailio work with such load?
