Problem with 4.0 nightlies and IMS - sem_post undefined

Hi I am trying to run the Ubuntu nightlies from http://deb.kamailio.org/kamailiodev-nightly and loading the p-cscf config files. Things were working fine while I was on the 20130110 nightlies, but when I upgraded to 20130122 I get the following errors. EOF Error in pass_fd

Hello List. TLS questions

Hi, please help me out with these questions: Is it possible to configure kamailio to use different certificates, one per peer? Do we just add them to the same "calist.pem" file? Is is possible to configure kamailio to accept a certificate from another device? I mean instead of Kamailio creating the certificate/key and give it to customer/provider. If that is the case, do we also add it to the "calist.pem" file as well? If all the above is true, what happens when the certificates have different expiration dates? thank you very much

BUG? - Dialog module timeout BYE is not ok.

Hi, Following this issue, and the issue "BYE dialog timeout bad syntax" from Julia. I have 2 kamailio servers. srv1 creates a dlg_timeout BYE and sends it to srv2 that forwards the BYE to the next sip server (some other server...). I can definitely see that the BYE that is being forward is malformed. The TO header info is not complete (the port section for example). When a "normal" bye is received from srv1 (not dlg_timeout) all works fine. One thing that i do in this scenario, on srv2 i use uac_replace() on the TO header. So, it is OK that the final destination is different (i do translations). I attached the BYE from both servers. Any ideas? Thanks, Uri You probably meant the To and From headers, I'm guessing. Yeah, as long as there is no display name component, URIs in headers like that don't have to go in <>s. The way Kamailio sends it is grammatically valid, per RFC 3261. Memory leak in 3.3.4

Hello, We're running a Kamailio 3.3.4 system, and Kamailio is slowly using more and more memory. Over a couple of weeks it will run out of system memory. We tried to enable memory debugging doing the following, but it resulted in Kamailio not responding to any SIP packets. Would anyone have advice please on how to debug the situation? 1. In Makefile.defs set MEMDBG to 1 and recompile Kamailio. 2. unregister user when kamailio looses TCP connection.

Hello, I've made a patch to kamailio-4.0.3 which removes stale registration when kamailio looses an incoming tcp connection. Of course this patch needs more work. Since the are no direct references between user location contacts and tcp connections callback function uses linear search through the whole location table using received field as a key. Can anybody more experienced in kamailio internals check if I chose the right place to get information about lost tcp connections ? Another thing I wanted to ask is maybe somebody can suggest a better way to tie a tcp connection to the user location information without complicating "usrloc" module by any heavy data structures. If anybody else except me need this It would be great to fix known problems and add it to kamailio.

Pseudo-variables and branches

Hi - Can someone help me understand how pseudo-variables interact with branches? But in fact I find that $rd keeps the domain from the ORIGINAL invite even if the call that just failed was the one to 127.0.0.1:5070 . tls nat

After many failures because of broken libraries I managed to decrypt my problematic TLS sessions providing the private key of kamailio to wireshark. With TLS+SRTP enabled my nokia phones send session progress and pracks with rtp port. This breaks NAT/rtpproxy in kamailio, which replaces the rtpproxy port in session progress, but then forgets about it for the 200 OK. Attached is a tree overview and the conversations of each phone with kamailio. hiro
