rls no notify generated

Hello Sirs, I managed to make it work but with the resource list embedded in the rls-services xml. Hi all, I am trying to do an on-registration to a Freeswitch box, to to this I am trying to use uac_reg_request_to(user, mode) Does anyone have any examples with this working? The request is going to the freeswitch box OK, I can see the challenge header being built but it is not sent back to the freeswitch box. Any help appreciated. Cheers. Keith

webrtc (websockets) to UDP and vice versa

Hello, I'm a newbie with Kamailio, and I require to connect webrtc (websockets) based phones, into a VoIP PBX that does not support websockets. I wish to create/use Kamailio rules that will translate UDP to websockets and vice versa. I have found few examples over the internet, but as it seems (to me), they are just doing normal SIP operations under websockets (registration, routing, voicemails etc). Is there a way to make Kamailio a broker that understand both transports, and translate them ? If so, can you please point me to a documentation/example that does it that might help me better understand it ? Please note that I do not have any experience with Kamailio, and just getting started with it. Thank you very much, Ido

Hi , i have a question for all : in the onreply_route is visible a dialog variable ($dlg_var(ring_time)) or a avp variable ? Can I set them , on this kind of route ? Notify registered users of primary server status change

Hi, I'm using kamailio as an intermediate proxy with survivability. That means I'm monitoring the primary server using the dispatch module, and if it goes down, I take control of all further requests. The main server acts as registrar, but I keep a copy a of the registered users list. There's a feature of Siemens (now Unify) phones and SBC where in this same scenario, the SBC will send a NOTIFY packet informing the status change to the phones. The phones then display a message indicating "limited service" and re-register. To indicate that they support this feature, phones send a "Supported: X-Siemens-Proxy-State" header when registering. The NOTIFY packet from the SBC includes the header "Event: server-mode-backup" or "Event: server-mode-normal" according to the main server status. I would like to replicate this functionality in kamailio. I looked at the presence module, as it already sends NOTIFY requests, but UACs have to subscribe to events first, and Siemens phones do not. I am trying to do it manually in the event_route[dispatcher:dst-down/up] triggers, but I can't find a way to iterate through all registered users. I would appreciate some assistance: - Is there some module I'm missing that implements something similar? - If not, how to iterate through all registered users to manually send a request to each of them? - If I send the requests using uac_req_send, will they be sent sequentially from the same thread? IMS and SIP over WebSocket 500/Error

Hello all, I have installed Kamailio 4.1.2 in IMS configuration (3 Kamailio instances to run in P/I/S-CSCF modes) Everything works fine with Native IMS clients (Boghe) I want now to introduce Web clients using WebSockets. I have added to the P-CSCF Kamailio.cfg the websockets parts Registration is Ok but I can't manage placing a call. With SIPoWS, the contact header is sip:olivier@132.invalid. So when the P-CSCF receives a terminating INVITE, its destination URI is sip:olivier@132.invalid , it tries to make a DNS resolution of 312.invalid and it doesn't forward to the client saying the domain is unknown and can't be routed I guess that something is missing in my configuration around aliases/nathelper/outbound but didn't find what... Intermittent Audio/video call

Dear All, I am working on Kamailio server (V 4.1.2) with RTPproxy (1.2.1) integrated, in a standalone intranet infrastructure (no any connection with internet). I have a strange behavior with my set-up here is : --> Audio/Video calls are just go fine with only kamailio server (Without running RTPproxy instance). But with the same script and set-up sometimes i'm experiencing one-way audio/video !!. What could be the reason for this behavior ? Is it a NAT problem ? How can i solve this issue ? --> I was just suspecting it as NAT problem and installed RTPproxy server, with this all the audio/video calls are going fine. But i'm curious to know about this intermittent audio/video calls that too without any changes to Kamailio configuration and my set-up. Please below find the attachment for kamailio config file. Social Configuration module for Kamailio released

For immediate release: ATLANTA, GA (1 April 2014)--Evariste Systems LLC, an Atlanta-based consultancy and software vendor specialising in Kamailio-based VoIP infrastructure solutions for the ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) market, has announced the public release of its groundbreaking "Social Configuration" module for the Kamailio open-source SIP server and SIP proxy. Evariste principal Alex Balashov explained: "It's no secret that writing Kamailio configuration in its embedded scripting language is complex. Social Configuration integrates with Twitter and Facebook to allow tens of thousands of people to write a config simultaneously through social networks, over a variety of devices and media, including PCs, tablets, smartphones and SMS. This lets Kamailio users harness the benefits of crowdsourcing." Continued Balashov: "The process begins when the Kamailio administrator writes the desired intentions of their setup--yes, in natural English prose. This isn't for propellerheads. The module sends this to our proprietary QNLP (quantum natural language parsing) server, which splits these desiderata into Business Action Items (BAIs). These are then sent out to participating Facebook and Twitter users via our expansive middleware, and the users return their piecemeal script implementations, which are usually one line of code or less. These are consolidated back into a fully functional Kamailio configuration." Brooks Bridges, Director of Engineering at Evariste, explained how Social Configuration handles reconciliation of conflicting implementations from across the Twittersphere and Facebook: "This is really the heart of the technology.
