Registration on SSP

Hello, I' trying to register kamailio on SIP Service Provider. In REGISTER reguest I see that URI is like "sip:DOMAIN:PORT;transport=X", but my SSP wait in another schema "sip:DOMAIN". Kamailio - Separated Servers

Hello! I am relatively new to Kamailio and I'm trying to create a new enviroment using it in my company. I am thinking about use Amazon to host the servers and use OpsWorks to automatically escalate then if necessary. To accomplish this, my idea is to separate the servers, using one dedicated server to run as WebSocket, one to run as proxy and one as a Registrar. I'll be using just one database to store informations to all of my servers. With this, if I need more resources later, I can just create new servers with the specific roles (WebSockets, Proxy, Registrar). By now, the idea is clear, but the point is that I don't know how to separate the WebSockets server from the proxy server. Actually, I can do this, but when I have one agent using a regular softphone and one agent using WebSockets (with JSSIP) they are not able to establish a session if the softphone user starts it. Now, I want to know if is there a way to use two websockets servers, register users using both of then and start sessions between then, with a separated proxy and registrar. Has anyone done this before? Is possible to use kamailio like this? Thanks. Bruno Emer

Hi, but with alias_db I can specify max 1 contact for a sip alias, while I need more sip contacts for the same alias. No audio/video transmission over different networks

Hi, I have setup kamailio 4.1.0 on an EC2 xlarge instance. The voice and video calls seem to work well when both the devices are connected to the same network, however, when one device connects to a different network (the two devices now are on different networks), they are able to register on SIP server, and even call can be triggered and accepted between the two devices but there is no video/audio transmission. I have setup rtpproxy but i don't know whether it's working or not. Any help on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks Alex I've checked your suggestion but it seems i've to register all user with same contact (AOR)...for example all registered with 1000(a)domain.But I can't register all users with same contact because I've to allow "intercom" call inside group. howto synchronize ruid across multiple proxy instances

Hi, let's say I'm running two proxies/registrars that need to access Shared location DB in db_mode=1 (all changes to usrloc are immediately reflected in database too). I have observed that if the UAC re-registers before the previous registration's expiry and the new REGISTER reaches the other proxy than the one that processed the registration originally, this new proxy is going to insert the second record for the same username into location table instead of updating the existing registration. I assume the problem is the ruid calculation, because proxy2 generated a different ruid than proxy1 since internal state of the two nodes is not shared. I have two questions: 1) is that assumption correct? 2) is there any way to synchronize the "ruid" of the two nodes in usrloc module, similar to the "secret" parameter in the auth module, or a better solution? I prefer the load-balancer to select random proxy and not do a hash based on From URI. I don't have the trace of the two registrations at the moment, but could get one next week. The issue popped up when running some sipp tests, but it's also possible that some cheap SIP endpoint would register well before the expiration time, creating duplicate registration. So if someone dials its number it's going to receive multiple incoming calls. Hello, I have multidomain scenario with parameters (both domains (servers) using common database): modparam("usrloc", "use_domain", 1); and modparam("domain", "db_mode", 1). I want to know using domain and usrloc what kind of tweaking is possibe ?? Secondly, I wanto to print domain of callee in the logs on arrival of INVITE packet. How can it be done ? NO_DTLS_FINGERPRINT when calling from webrtc to webrtc client

Another topic about WebRTC, websockets with kamailio and rtpengine ;-) My problem is how to distinguish a call to WS UAC and how to SIP UAC in scenarios: 1) WS client1 -> WS kamailio -> SIP kamailio -> SIP UAC 2) WS client1 -> WS kamailio -> SIP kamailio -> WS kamailio -> WS client2 WS kamailio is a proxy, SIP kamailio is a registrar When "WS client1" is calling to "123123" WS kamailio doesn't know if "123123" was registered from "WS client2" or from SIP UAC. I have in this case rtpengine_manage("....... RTP/AVP"), but when INVITE is returned to WS kamailio? RTP/SAVPF? Probably it is obvious, however... When WS client2 reply with 200OK, rtpengine_manage("..... ICE=force") to WS client1 SDP is sent without a:fingerprint. sipml5 dumps warning: message: "Could not negotiate answer SDP; cause = NO_DTLS_FINGERPRINT I tried different combinations... and I'm stuck :/ Regards
