Microsoft Direct Routing Assistance And Kamailio Integration

Hi All, I am looking for some assistance on setting up Microsoft Direct Routing with Kamailio as an SBC. I have a partial config working, I have rewrote the headers going to Direct routing and can place calls in to and out of Direct routing. I have problems with Call hang ups and choppy audio only on the audio stream from Direct Routing. 1) place a call in to direct routing, Hang the call up from the caller and Direct routing hangs up the call. But If you place a call in to Direct routing and hang up the call from direct routing the direct routing hangs up but the call is still active on the caller. IF you call from direct routing through kamailio to a callee and hang up from direct routing the call is hung up correctly. 2) on some calls made to or from direct routing, the audio stream coming from direct routing is sometimes choppy. Its always the audio from direct routing never the audio going to direct routing. My set up: Asterisk <-> Kamailio <-> Direct Routing SIP: Asterisk <-> Kamailio <-> direct routing RTP: Asterisk <-> Direct Routing Kamailio is rewriting the R-URI, TO, FROM, Contact headers going to Direct routing, as Microsoft need the sbc hostname to be in the contact header in a particular format. authentication using auth_db module

Hi all, I'm trying to establish mysql database connection inside request route (at runtime) based on the type of user, as credentials are stored in multiple databases (may be different servers) for the users. Therefore, I am trying to find out that is there anyway to connect to mysql dynamically in request route or pass 'db_url' parameter dynamically to auth_db module. Hope this explains the requirement. After-parsing config file?

Does Kamailio provide any API for other program to create sip account

Hi i am Gaurav I am developing a sip VoIP app in Android, which want to provide the feature of allowing user to create sip account from client side. I use Kamailio as sip server. My thought is when user register to the the user account system, the user account system can communicate with Kamailio, create a sip account associated with the user and pass the sip account to the client, the client then can configure itself using the sip account. VRF routing with kamailio 5.2

Hi All, Hope everyone in community is well. I was wondering if anyone could let me know if VRF is supported with kamailio 5.2 ? Essentially I am looking to put kamailio between two SBCs and bridge the networks together. So currently Server A 1.1.1.1 connects to Server B 2.2.2.2 and they pass calls fine, and I want to add kamailio in between without changing any IPs, so using VRF I have one network interface intA with 1.1.1.1 and the other intB with 2.2.2.2. What I want to do is listen on both interfaces, which is fine but bridge or force traffic between the two. Is this possible with kamailio? As doing force socket and listening on both 1.1.1.1 and 2.2.2.2 kamailio just loops and routes to itself, and force socket doesnt help. Do you have any suggestions? Would running two instances of kamailio on same server help or even introducing to separate kamailio instances and force routing between the two for requests. I am currently just testing with SIP OPTIONS and it is already proving tricky. Any help or comments appreciated. I appreciate this might not be the best solution however we have a lead time with providers to make changes which are proving quite slow and impractical so just trying to work a solution. Thanks Jon
