Newbie: TOPOH in SBC/Proxy scenario regarding To-header

Hi! I set up a proxy in front of an asterisk server to handle registration and similar. This setup needs topology hiding. I enabled and configured TOPOH which is working well. The only header which leaks network details is "To". It lists the proxys internal IP. Sure, a proxy should not alter the To and I am investigating if this can be changed in asterisk but is it even possible? Kind regards Kevin

Kamailio + FreeSwitch + WebRTC

Hi everybody, I followed this tutorial https://kb.asipto.com/freeswitch:kamailio-3.3.x-freeswitch-1.2.x-sbc#kamail… And it works fantastic! The next step was to add WebRTC support, so I added WebSockets module to enable web clients to register on kamailio. It works flawlessly and webphone clients register OK! (Followed this http://nil.uniza.sk/sip/kamailio/configuring-kamailio-4x-websocket ) Now, when I call from a softphone (eyeBeam) to the web client (jssip) the other party reach okay, rings okay, but when I pickup de call (from the web client), the softphone goes directly to the VoiceMail. >From the logs I see the jssip throw this error: "Failed to set remote offer sdp: Called with SDP without DTLS fingerprint." I would like to avoid RTPEngine, because from what I understand, FreeSwitch can handle the media part. Can somebody please have the kindness to guide me on how to enable webrtc between Kamailio and FreeSwitch? If somebody needs to see the "kamailio.cfg" please let me know, and i would upload the file to a gist. Cheers, Emanuel.

Kamailio v5.0.7 Released

There is no change to database schema or configuration language structure that you have to do on previous installations of v5.0.x. Deployments running previous v5.0.x versions are strongly recommended to be upgraded to v5.0.7 or v5.1.x. Releasing v5.0.7

Hello, I am considering to release Kamailio v5.0.7, out of git branch 5.0, sometime next week, likely to happen on Thursday, June 21. As usual, if there is any issue not reported yet on github, do it a soon as possible to have a chance to investigate. Soon I will review and backport the commits that apply from branch 5.1 back to 5.0, so keep an eye and notify us if a patch you expect to be in 5.0 is not backported. Kamailio 5.1.2 and Module PDB: pdb_query returns always 0

Hi I have here Kamailio 5.1.2 with PDB Module. I use the documented function from PDB-Module as follows: pdb_query("$rU", "$avp(i:82)"); xlog("L_INFO","PDB result $rU: $avp(i:82)\n"); The problem is, that $avp(i:82) is always 0. If I test the PDB-Server, with "pdbt -r localhost:5574 query <phonenumber>" I get a valid response. Kamailio IMS PCSCF database problem

Dear sir, I'm using Kamailio 4.4.0 and 5.1.4 IMS module. During using SIPp 3000 subscriber register testing, after enabling PCSCF DB URL function, the contents of 3000 subscribers on PCSCF location table are the same. Using the same IP address and UDP port of 3000 SIPp REGISTER message seems to be the problem. Anyone can help me? Thanks a lot.

KEMI routing script Python exceptions with empty traceback

Hi All, I'm using app_python with a KEMI Python routing script. I have been getting occasional Python exception error logs : kamailio[2242]: 8(2253) ERROR: app_python [python_support.c:150]: python_handle_exception(): python_exec2: Unhandled exception in the Python code: kamailio[2242]: TypeError: an integer is required The scripts seems to function without an issue but these error logs appear fairly frequently, always with an empty Python stack trace. I see this occurring in different parts of the routing script e.g. from script def ksr_onsend_route(self,msg): KSR.xlog.xdbg("ONSEND_ROUTE fs=[$fs] $mb\n"); return 1; an exception is reported within ksr_onsend_route() even when the log level is info. Changing log to xlog.xinfo, the log is seen to be sent to syslog but again the exception is reported. These exceptions are always "TypeError: an integer is required" but don't seem related to the Python script. Installing RTPengine on CentOS 7

Hi, I'm trying to install RTPengine in the same machine as I have Kamailio, running CentOS 7, but there are a few dependencies that yum cannot seem to resolve and I that cannot find anywhere else. You're right, it is application/sdp and the back slash works as escape character. However, a new problem came. I'm using this, since someone upstream is adding \r\n to a part of the body : replace_body_all("application\/sdp\r\n\r\n", "application/sdp\r\n"); The regex finds the application/sdp just right, but doesn't replace everything. So, as a final result i get applicationapplication\sdp\r\n. Is this intended? Thanks for your help

Timer child process loosing MySQL connections

Hi all! Having an issue with MySQL db connections being dropped in a system running 4.4.7. We're using db_mysql and db_cluster modules setup a cluster connecting two different DB servers. We have two cluster connections, one for acc and one for "other queries". One DB (A) is on the same network, another DB (B) is on another network. The default DB connection is for the remote server B. Auto reconnect is enabled. The specific issue seen is that the "timer" child process looses/drops both connections to DB A and B. Looking at the output from lsof when this happens, the connections usually does not both drop connections for A and B at the same time. Sometimes the connections keep up for ~24h, sometimes for 10 minutes, but normally the problem re-occurs every 6 hours or so. We're seeing this problem on two Kamailio servers, both handling fairly high amount of calls. None of the other Kamailio child processes seems to get their connections dropped, only the "timer" process. To solve this we need to restart Kamailio. Lately I've added the timer.so module to make a simple query on each cluster connection each 10 seconds. Hi all, Few days back only, I started working on Kamailio IMS. I set up PSCSF, ICSCF, SCSCF and HSS(from open hss). When I try to send Register request from Zoiper, ICSCF is giving request timeout. At SCSCF, MAR failed error is logged. Kindly, let me know where I am doing wrong? >From my observation, At HSS, I can't see MAR request processing, It is only processing UAR from ICSCF. TLS module and IPv6 (using tls.cfg).

Hi all, I was playing around with the "config" modparam to specify and use a TLS configuration file instead of inline modparams inside kamailio.cfg. I did some testing and when I went to try with IPv6 I run into a little doubt?? tls.cfg config example: [server:1.2.3.4:5061] <----- How do you put an IPv6 in there? method = TLSv1 verify_certificate = yes require_certificate = no private_key = /usr/local/etc/kamailio/tls/local_key.pem certificate = /usr/local/etc/kamailio/tls/local_cert.pem verify_depth = 3 ca_list = local_ca.pem crl = local_crl.pem Applying the logic of the "listen" param, it should be: [server:[AAAA:BBBB:CCCC:DDDD:EEEE:FFFF:GGGG:HHHH]:5061] But it just seems totally wrong and I haven't found anything in the docs. Greetings, Please help me understand the reason and source of this behaviour on Kamailio. I receive a 200OK to a RE-INVITE that has : Session Name (s) : MySession Connection Information (c) : IN IP4 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Then, Kamailio routes the 200OK to it's destination, and it leaves Kamailio like this : Session Name (s) : MySession sdpc=IN xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx The line Connection Information got deleted and it's info is now on Session Name. How can i disable this ? Thanks

Hello everybody, I have a question about the function "aliases". With my server no alias entry is registered and there is no DNS server (reverse DNS is not possible) in the network. Nevertheless, the SIP server listens to a defined alias. Is there next to the config file and the kamctlrc file another place where an alias can be entered? Cheers, Kai

I am trying to configure Kamailio to forward SIP traffic from (and to) a SIP gateway to a Twilio SIP trunk: SIP gateway ----> Kamailio ----> Twilio SIP trunk How to configure Kamailio for this use case? add_uri_param with variables

Hello list, Hope you all doing well! We've been attempting to add a URI parameter to implement the trunk group (tgrp and trunk-context) but discovered the add_uri_param() function only works with constant string.... we can't use a pseudovar to inform the value to be added. Anyone knows why such limitation? Can it be changed? It is possible to do the same thing via the subst_uri function, but it would be so much more elegant to use the function...
