Hi All!
I know that´s a very dumb question... but please someone help me ..
How to include the save("aliases") or lookup("aliases") in the
default
route configuration in ser.cfg?
I have that
400 Table 'aliases' not found in memory, use save("aliases") or
lookup("aliases") in the configuration script first message, but i´m new to
ser and i need to see some example to understand how to do it...
Thanks!
Miklos

That all depends on your setup.
Do you use direct IP dialing or do you use a proxy? Where is the proxy -
in your local network or somewhere in the public internet? Where is the
callee located - same network or somewhere else? It might be also useful
to watch the network traffic at the callees site and at the ser proxy.

I ran ngrep -d eth0 X.X.X.X (Where X.X.X.X is my IP
address) and I didn't get a lot of DNS queries. I
couldn't see any activity on my IP address until I
heard a ring (after about 15-20 seconds).
What would be some other causes for this problem?
Thank you for your time.

There can be a lot of issues, e.g. I often find
long
call setup delays
caused by several DNS lookups (either by the client
or the proxy) which
may take some time if the DNS server is slow.
You would have to use ethereal (or other packets
sniffer) and watch all
traffic related to your call to resolve this issue.

I have noticed that when I attempt to call another
user it takes a long time to make the connection.
I'm guessing this is a configuration issue since I
have an ADSL connection. Does anybody know how I
can
