asterisk in, so that the same username / password is used if people call in to the voicemail admin to retrieve voicemails? Or, do we have to create the users twice, once in ser and once in asterisk?
When we create a user for SER, our process automatically creates the Voicemail entry in the Asterisk database. So to answer your question, YES the entry has to be created twice but you can do it simultaneously.
