Dear Martin,
 
Yes, I also tried  "expires" and "last_modified" with date type, however it only stored date information, no time information, but on mysql the openser stores both date and time. I dont know if with no time information the openser will work smootly or not.
 
I will try to change something as your recommendation and test again, hope to get something better.
I will feedback to you about the test..
