Hi Richard,
Check if mysql.so exists in /usr/lib/ser/modules/ or
/usr/local/lib/ser/modules. If it is not there, edit the ser Makefile
and remove the 'mysql' somewhere in 'exclude=' part. Then recompile
and reinstall SER.
