save_memory updates the memory cache only, it will not write anything
into the database. Originally it was written to avoid db update
conflicts when mysql replication is being used.

What I don't know, however, is will 10.255.15.2 <http://10.255.15.2> attempt
to write to the location table.
Does anyone know about this?
