Hello,
what version of openser do you use? If there is no explicit 'error'
message, then the command has succeeded. You can check directly in
database via mysql client if the new user was added or not in subscriber
table.

Note: I use mysql for the database, and it can work goodly. ( I
can show all the table that there is in openser database)
