No, subscriber table has never been cached.
the next version is 0.8.12? any eta? I can test the cvs stuff if it is in there. i hope there is a 'check the cache and if the location isn't registered there then check the database' mode. Upon further reflection this may be problematic...should probably always check the database.
ETA is middle of January. I wouldn't recommend unstable stuff right now because it contains many untested changes.
