Hello Richard,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I set "ulimit -n 60000" on the server. I will restart rtpproxy tonight and
see if there are new errors tomorrow.
Regards,
Igor.

Hello,
I have seen that the problem can occur due to the kernel limitation.
So, I have changed the local_port range to be sure that they include
the port range of RTPProxy.
But, I still not explain this limitation. Because, even with the
kernel limitation, they should be have sufficient number of ports to
allocate.
Any idea? Thanks.
It could be that the maximum number of file descriptors allowed for the
process has been reached. You can try executing "ulimit -n 60000" before
starting the RTP proxy daemon. Just a guess. In any case, the daemon should
log an error if it fails to open or allocate a port. If it doesn't, you can
try hooking into the running process with strace to see what's going on.
HTH
cheers
