[Serusers] server behind symmetric nat

One server I'm working on is sitting behind a symmetric nat. I currently see one thing which I think may cause problems, the Via: field in the header has a private address in it when requests are sent to another server. Is there any way to get the server to re-write that Via: field it appends so that it adds the outside address instead. Or am I mistaking here ? Does anyone else have this setup in a live environment ?
