Hi,
Just replace ["$2" == "" ] wirh ["$2" = "" ] in serctl script. I had this problem many times. It's just a bug.

Looks like shell lexical mistake but I dont't see it in a code. Maybe anyone had this problem before?
I'm trying ser-0.9.6 on FreeBSD5.5 .
